Keep the names as they are. Block 0 is basically a supplemental terrain file, but the textures for the machines and wires, etc. are all taken from the other files. So your sprites folder will have several differently named files as above.

Here is block_machine for 64x. I mostly used the soartex-compatible textures but I had to edit some of them by hand. I tried to stay faithful to the originals and to the style.

More sheets to follow soon!

And here's a 64x block_machine2:

The graphic on the top of the pad should be obvious, but I will award 100 Internets to the first person who can figure out what I used for the sides...

I don't really want to contribute, besides suggesting that you add the http://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=740]Faithful Pack[/url] to this.

Here's the 64x block_generator:

I think that's about it for the moment. If I had a better idea of what tiles are still used off of block_0, I could finish updating that too.
-
Wow, that's some great work HeadHunter.
-
Thanks. For the record, I didn't do most of the textures aside from the telporter - they're the work of Warbaque (the thread originator) who did the Soartex-compatible pack for the last version.
I did, however, make the terraformer and the side of the safe, as well as the pump window. But I tried to stay faithful to the prior versions while upscaling the detail.
Just wanted to do my part to help people enjoy IC in HD!

Here is a Soartex-compatible copper ore replacement:
http://img.photobucket.com/alb…67Minecraft/CopperOre.pngI love Soar's latest ores but one needs to be able to tell iron from copper easily - so I color balanced it for more red.

How do I download the files as png files? They come up in a weird format.
-
Right click on the image, choose "save picture as" and it should save with the proper filename in .png format.
What format are you getting them as? And what browser and OS are you using? -
It doesnt come up as any format. just says "file" as the type. Also using Win 7 and google chrome
EDIT: wait nvm. I was trying to download the 64x one that was on the first page.
-
See if there's a drop down for file type and select .png; otherwise, try a different browser.

Could you upload a 1024x1024 Version of that, so it can be used? It looks amazing.

Forbidden

It already should ne a 1024x1024 image. That's what 64x means - 64 pixels by 64 pixels per tile, so a sheet is 1024x1024.
You should be able to click on the image or the link to get to the full size image - but I notice that for some reason that's returning it as 720x720. No idea why, might be due to Photobucket.
You should be able to just resize it in Paint.NET or GIMP or any other image editor that supports .PNG files. -
When is the block_0.png coming out for the new IC2?
-
Whenever someone gets around to putting one together. All I've done is assemble the textures we already had from previous versions.
Check out the Sphax texture packs if you want one that's all ready to go. -
hmm, so we still need: x64
