I know using the first version of IC2 is kind of stupid, but I want it on my 1.7.3 aether mod install. I found in my game that rubbertrees look like this: and
I have no idea why the rubbertree block is a furnace and fire block texture. I have the mod installed correctly (I think, you said for 1.00 to put the folders actually in the .jar, I tried it with it in the mods folder and got the same problem) the other mods I have installed are Buildcraft +additional pipes, Redpower, Aether, and Recipe book. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

The Aether mod uses an API that is very incompatible with Forge. That's why. I'm not entirely sure if anyone has actually gotten the two to work together.

1. We don't support outdated versions of IC
2. What the guy above said, Aether is quite a bad example for any sort of compatibility. -
Hmm, ok I guess i'll just play without it for now
