This one is already in the 1th post max eff perfect breeder. Just scroll down a bit i already got a section for breeders.

ok ok, small question thou, its an neutral breeder. how do i get this one up to temp? i mean, how many buckets i add in the beginning of its cycle

Use 243 lava buckets or use the heat configuration and let it run for 430 secs and then change it back. See the first post for all the instructions.
so basicly i need to add 1 bucket every 11 seconds to the reactor. that is what it is showing. i gues an filter - timer setup is in order there.
I would simply let it run for 430 seconds in heat configuration. I think thats quicker and easier than putting 243 lava buckets in it. Just make sure you you wont let it run for 472 seconds or parts start to melt

i am thinking about using an redstone wiring to do just that, maybe i can rig it up just right so it alters its config to the correct config

For some reason this doesnt work on our server. Its running for at least 10 minutes now and is at around 1800 Heat. The configuration is exactly the same, we double checked. I'm really confused on whats wrong here. Either the Temp Reader is wrong, or i'm missing something.
Something is really wrong here. It should have been exploded for long now according to the tool but the heat reading is only at 2500 wtf ?
here are my first two reactors that i made to day

Rick, i accidentally improved(made myself, then noticed similarity) your second design in first post - Link
Very nice added to first post

There is too much heat dispensers in your design. After being busy with the reactor planner for 30 secs i came up with this: http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…g=1k101010110010101001010
It also got a extra spot for manual cooling.
I'm not sure why you dont answer to my post but i repeatedly tried the reactor design, and still the reactor takes about 20 minutes on our server to heat up instead of these 430secs. It works as advertised otherwise, after i remove the heatdesign it stays stable but the time is way off.

dunno according to the reactor planner parts should start to melt after 472 sec

Here's a positive breeder I designed. I'm just getting into reactors, so I don't know how to put all the technical specs into words, but I tested it and it makes re-enriched cells very quickly, even without getting hot. Fast enough that you wouldn't want to leave it unattended while it's working. Though it can run 29 cycles without overheating, so you won't have problems with that.
I fear the reactor planner has gone loopy. Last night I was trying to suss out a breeder and it was giving me sensible numbers, I'll add a cell, then would say everything would melt (despite having negative excess heat) .. Just looking at the above link, it's telling me a maximum consecutive cycles of -0.12.
Anyone else seeing strange things? Might be only when setting up a breeder.
I made a pretty good (If I may say so myself) MK2
http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…=1k10101001511621s1r11r10
140EU/t - 95EU/t effective
2.33eff
Although pretty expensive (16 heat dispensers)
Let me know what you think of it...

I dunno if your design is fully optimized but atm this design pretty much beats it in any way except active eu output: http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…=1k10101001501521s1r11r10
Rick, about your perfect breeder - isn't it much simplier to take out the HD,than use 5 lava buckets and insert HD back? It's lame to wait soooo much time >_>
That would get the hull heat to 9000, but the moment you stuck the HD back in, it would start pulling that heat out of the hull and distributing it to parts, reducing the hull heat. The wait time is necessary to allow the heat dispenser to evenly distribute the heat between the hull and the components. Also why it's more efficient by far to just use the heating configuration to heat the thing up quickly, then switch it to the charging configuration to maintain it.
wel, took some time for myself and decided i wanted to upgrade my old design.
this is the result so far:

wil add more in time
I can confirm there's a discrepancy between the reactor planner and v1.43. I tried Rick's breeder and after 430 seconds in heater mode, the temp read 855. Fifteen minutes later it reads 2635. A bit dissappointed at my reactor's flacid performance as this is my first. I shall now test some uneducated and irresponsible 'enhancements' to the design and see what happens.
