I need help with this. I've been using this app and I've read through countless pages in this thread, but I still come to a deadlock which design is best for my purposes.
Basically I need to get as much EU out of a reactor in as little time as possible. I was looking into the designs, and personally
1. Resources are unlimited, if I need something I have plenty of items to make it.
2. Uranium is unlimited, no need to hold back on fuel
3. I don't care about safety, I have thermometers and automatic shut offs
4. I would prefer that the efficiency be above 2 because tbh my uranium isn't actually unlimited.
So basically, I want to turn as much of my supply of uranium into power as fast as possible. I looked through the high-efficiency reactors because, obviously, they produce the most EU/tick, but they all seem to have long cool down times that cut into time. Can anyone give me a good design?
You should read the threads first post before asking questions, but now as you have already asked it I might as well answer it.
Pump ice/buckets into the reactor like so (bucket variant) and thats all you need to do. You'll need HV-transformer(s) though. If you have any more questions make a new thread.

I would imagine that someone else has already created this design.
I was looking to accomplish the following:
1) maximize output
2) maximize efficiency
3) not baby sit during a cycle (I wasn't trying to automate - though with an ice block in the open slot it would run indefinately
4) Cost wasn't much of a concern as I have more than enough material provided the first three were met

I saw on the first page were a 2x2 grid of uranium cells is even more efficient that this design so I may use one of them. Anyway, I love the tool - I could sit there for hours and just try and plan out diferent strategies.

If you try hard you may come up with even better than this.
Maybe but that looks better than mine so for now I will run with it. Will keep trying to find something even better. Thanks for sharing
