fast recharge

    you never woke up to see what a wonderfull day it is to mine, but by the time your stuff is recharged one by one it already turned night?


    not anymore with the handy recharge station block.


    it will storage power worth two times a MFSU, but wont give it back to cables again.


    instead, it will give all the power needed to recharge all your stuff to the person that touches it.


    this will only take about 5 seconds, however, you will get an energy lost of 500 EU, becouse of te poor connection between you and the block,i mean, you are only touching it.

    This would make a WONDERFUL replacement for the MFE I'm using for a recharge station. I have to ask... what's the point of storing so much EU if it's only going to be charging your devices? Are you thinking someone's going to be carrying around 10 lappacks or something? :wacko:


    How about... the station has a small internal charge, but can draw High Voltage (512 EU/t) and charge your inventory (batteries, devices, tools, etc) at that speed? The last thing I really want to see is yet another device that you can hook up to 2-3 solars and forget about the cost of energy for it. Talk about OP. :thumbdown:

    hm, i see what you mean with the solars, but the storage was for the recharging of the quantum suit.

    Hmmm... Sounds eerily similar to the Charging Bench addon.


    There are 3 tiers of benches, one for LV, MV, and HV, and each one can be wired into your system and provides power to your tools.


    Examples:
    T1 -> :Mining Drill: :Diamond Drill: Electric Wrench, RE Battery :Chainsaw: :Batpack:
    T2 -> :Nano-Helmet: :Nano-Bodyarmor: :Nano-Leggings: Nano Boots, :Nano Saber: :Mining Laser: :Energy Crystal: Lappack
    T3 -> :Quantum-Helmet: :Quantum-Bodyarmor: :Quantum-Leggings: :Quantum-Boots: Lapotron


    And not to mention, the bench can charge up to 12 items in parallel.

    Problem with charging bench is it still does not actually accelerate the charging, It just does them in parallel. Ofc, if you have 2 of everything, you can leave one set in the bench, while you use the other set, then switch each time.

    True, and that is the strategy I use once I get far enough. Still I don't mind the wait... Come to think about it, faster charging times were discussed somewhere else on this forum, just can't remember where.

    I think I made a thread a while back on it, I think something about things charging at twice(or four times) the rate for each tier up of a charging device you stuff it into, so a rechargable batterie in a MFSU would charge 4(16) times as fast as a batbox, as would a drill.
