Is it usual that Topics got deleted without any message?

I'm little angry about deleting my Topic without any reason.
I posted a help thread for support about my server and I got help but that didn't worked and now it's vanished.

Generally topics get deleted for one reason that comes to mind:

Generally it's the title formatting; example: "[HELP] Server Problems"

But also it could be that the problem has been reported so many times that the Devs just knock the thread off for the user not using the search function.

Nope, even then i usually just ignore or lock a thread.
