It's weird that IF(induction Furnace) don't have sound but it's non advanced part does. I did see a Induction Furnace sound folder and it's sounds. Why not use it?

wouldn't the sound get kind of annoying if it was at 100% and just pumping through stuff and only playing a 1/2 second bit of sound?

As long as the IFs have sounds. It should be ok. They just need to clean up a little bit with their sound API.
