Question: Do power-storage blocks charge while players are offline?

  • My players seem to think that in pre-1.2 versions, Batboxes, MFE's, and MFSU's charged even while nobody was active on the server. In the current version, it appears that these devices do not charge while players are offline. Could someone provide the correct intended function of these devices? Thanks!

  • The devices will charge IF the chunk they are located in is loaded. If nobody is on, then they will not charge.

  • Just to make this clear, this is not an intended behavior. It is due to minecraft's limitations, which includes how the game is saved. Just wanted to make that clear so no new "Let storage blocks charge with no one around" Suggestions pop up.
