[Support Request] A Little Problem with the Electric Jetpack

  • Alright, so I made myself a shiny new Electric Jetpack. I'm having fun flying around, and I find myself at the top of my tower. I remember from the last time I played Industrial Craft (Minecraft 1.8.1 I think) that I can avoid fall damage by getting close to the ground, moving up a little, and then droping. It will calculate fall damage based on the last place you moved up. So I do that, and the next thing I know: "MicroGodrad hit the ground to hard." So after some experimenting, I figure out that it now calculates fall damage based on your highest Y coordinate. So what this means is that there is no way to use the Electric Jetpack to avoid fall damage. Is this a bug? Am I the only one getting this?

Another thing on the Electric Jetpack: I can't seem to switch into hover mode. I checked my controls, and the mode switch key is M. I look on the Wiki. I have to be using it to switch modes. I try both, and still no luck. I can switch modes with the mining laser, but not the Jetpack. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?

  • Is there going to be a bug-fix for this at some point?

I still have problems on landing with both the jetpack and the electric jetpack. Also when I remove the jetpack (either one) from the chest slot it immediatly fully charges again. I use IC² 1.90, Forge 2.0.0.67

  • I've been having a few problems with one mine as well.
It seems to work properly for me except for the fact that i cant change into hover mode.
