• im trying to figure out how to get my geothermal generator to fill my batbox and then not turn on again until the bat box is empty. how would i go about doing this? im already using a detector and a splitter cable but that just causes the geo thermal generator to pulse. any ideas on how i can go about this?

  • How do you have the batbox set? Set it to emit if full and run that into a NOT gate. I think that should work, assuming things work like i'm picturing them in my head.

    edit: ok, maybe not. You may need two conditionals. Do you have buildcraft v3.x installed? a Latch (either huge vanilla one or one from RP2) with a shutoff being when full and a reset being from empty should work. Batbox set to emit if full and a gate set to emit if empty.

  • How about make things even simpler, setup two batboxes with one set to emit when full and one set to emit when empty, so have the latch that is attached to the splitter cable turn off if empty, to let power through, and turn on when the box is full.

    In my world, I downloaded the new IC2 version, got up a whole bunch of crossbreeders going, and thought to myself "This is going to take a while. Wasn't there an abandoned mineshaft not far from my workshop?" So I get my tools together, charge into the mineshaft, suffer many close shaves, stayed a bit longer than is probably healthy, but emerge from the experience all the wiser (literally, I gained several levels), and with oodles of melon and pumpkins seeds to boot.

    And come home to find out that weeds have destroyed my entire farm. :cursing:
