Color me crazy, but isn't this supposed to give creative flight? I only get jetpack style flight with the chestplate on.
I love BC. Especially it being opensource.
This wasn't too bad, honestly. I thought it would be a much much longer copypasta adventure, but only a few dozens lines of code. BC makes it super easy to add these tabs. Like super easy. Me wantz to use these everywhere. EVERYWHERE.
Nice, does that include the Thermal Expansion style stuff to shove NEI out of the way?
Noticed a problem with the armor that gravisuite here adds. (all of the pieces it seems like)
Namely, the armor doesn't lose energy when you take damage like the vanilla IC2 pieces do.
Silly question time: Is there a way to get to the antimatter dimension?
I don't recall seeing such in the thread in the past.
uptated to 3.4.5 and noticed that i cannot make copper and tin plates using the ic2 hammer anymore. not sure if this is a bug or not. downgraded back to 3.4.3 and can craft them again
Same thing here, somehow 3.4.5 seriously messes with a LOT of things tin based. Can't make forestry cans, can't make tin plates (NEI shows you need fire (ID 51) to make them)
something got goofed up in 3.4.5
Crash with forge 964
What is the latest forge this is compatible with? I tried Forge 897 and it worked, but that might cause issues in other mods.
Use the recommended build unless stated otherwise. Forge versions beyond 953 have taken a rather nasty incompatibility turn, probably in preparation for 1.7
It should use water, but not lava, as I could make a normal vanilla one for no use of either.
Not to mention there being two other mods right now that can give you cobble for free. One being Thermal Expansion (3.0b1) the other being Extra Utilities.
Applied Energistics is already out or 1.6, though I think he still updates for 1.5 as well.
That's what I meant just kinda forgot to mention. Another exception that still updates for 1.5.2 (well, updated.. the mod author's done) Enchanting Plus
I am quite interested in this module you
Can I ask you to produce a 1.5.2 version?
Because the mainstream is still in 1.5.2
English is not good, please forgive me!
"mainstream"? you mean FTB? they're continually out of date, don't rely on them.
i've already moved on to 1.6.4 and basically every mod already has (I think ender io and applied energistics are the only two exceptions)
Woot! Now I can cut the iridium values in half to start with and go from there.
Though I do have a question: if a new material that IC2 supports comes along, will the config be updated to reflect such?
Just realized that Levitation Boots use 12 iridium plates. You need 14 iridium plates total. So, ~3 billion EU with scrap... OMG.
Aaand quantum ring uses 72. WHEEE.
How about ~20 billion EU? 20,000,000,000 EU. How about that?
500 filled MFSUs. 500. 500. FIVE HUNDRED.
Yup! A better example of how IC2 is being ruined by greg I have yet to see.
Seriously.. the new UU-matter system is just STUPID broken.
Been running the experimental versions here and everthing's been stable so far.
Once again, playing in my 1.6.2 world, found what a nice of a mining tool Enhanced DDrill is (coal... coal... everywhere):
All the things here were mined for ~20 minutes.
Although it was a lot of fun, i doubt about balance.. What do you make of it?
Personally i've never liked the idea of enchanted drill much. Mostly because it's an enchant once and never do it again sort of thing, the tool never wears out.
Playing in my legit IC2_experimental 1.6.2 world (with a ton of mods, including LS), I figured out what things you don't want to do (bitter experience):
1. Don't click with Atomic Disassemblers ANYWHERE near your machinery. You'll cry a lot.
2. Don't use Atomic Disassemblers with charge > 32. You risk to loose your life (on >= 64 max damage = 24 = 12 hearts, on 32 - 12 - 6 hearts).
3. Watch your healthbar when using Atomic Disassemblers. ALWAYS.
4. Don't punch enemies with Atomic Disassemblers. Yes, it will kill mobs instantly, but at the same time it will drain 16 000 EU. After 8 or so hits, you will significantly lower your mobilepower and will need to run to your base AGAIN.
5. After dying more than 6 times, consider switching config option "atomicDisassemblersEnableDamage" off.
Hee, amusing. I've been meaning to play a legit 1.6.2 game but between life (aka: the annoying necessity called a job) and GTA5 I haven't had a lot of free time.
EDIT 3: i am adding breaking particles for Atomic Disassembler. After making one tunnel, it sends ONE (instead ~1000, which was planned initially) packet, but the problem is that packet's size is ~66 kilobytes). And that's really not that bad. I'll go with it.
(Warning: Pedant alert)
Technically it's not one packet as it'll get split up by the TCP/IP stack but yeah, still rather tons better than 1000.
random off-topic statement: Bloody curse... the MC forums are down.
If you want new features for the IC2_experimental really bad, dev-0.2 is in the attachments. (my versioning is as follows:
dev0.1 -> dev0.2 -> dev1 -> dev2 -> rc1 -> rc2 -> release, however i really did not find time for "release" stage...)
Don't try to mess with powersyncs, wireless conductors and superconductors, you were warned! (they are still broken, i honestly don't know what to do with superconductors, their behaviour seems shenanigans to me).
Like always, report bugs in this thread or on github.. I'm sure that with experimental support comes a ton of bugs.
hmm, works good so far but I do have one comment: could you respect the IC2 config choice for q-sprinting with your gear? aka: I like using the control key and I change the IC2 config to reflect this.
Woo, nice. Love how the quantum ring looks so far.
One can have the best of both worlds now, modular powersuits for a couple of it's nice features while still having the nice quantum running+jumping.
Have you considered a quantum ring that does flight as well?
