    Hi all. I installed IC2. Everything works well ... until first few minutes. After 2,3 minutes, game start lags. FPS drops from 60 to 1,2 ... then again (after 2 seconds) 60 ... 2 seconds later, again 2 FPS. During this period, the CPU load increases. From 30% to 70%. In normal mode, the game requires 30-35%. Vanilla client works fine. Java updated, client is updated, IC2 , modloader, mcforge updated, nvidia updated . In Java-Xincgc-Xmx2G

    Notebook
    Intel i5 M520 2.4Ghz
    RAM 4 (2.99 in x32)
    Win 7 x32
    Geforce 330M

    P.S Google translator :)

    Welcome to the forum.

    Try turning off the IC2 sounds in the config. This is a known issue when you get too far from the machines.

    Just deactivate IC² in the Modloaderconfig and test it then, so that you know if its IC².

    Maybe its the Incremental Garbagecollector, try it without it.

    P.S. What Googletranslator? Thats too good (but still bad) English for that.

    #ModLoader Config
    #Sat May 05 15:32:18 EEST 2012
    mod_MinecraftForge=on
    loggingLevel=FINER
    grassFix=true
    mod_TooManyItems=on
    mod_IC2=off

    I disabled IC2. In toomanyitems no items from IC2. But still the FPS drops.

    In Java-Xincgc-Xmx2G

    You are starting Minecraft with "java -Xincgc -Xmx2G". The -Xincgc stands for the incremetal garbagecollector of java, just leave that part out and try again.

    Ok i try it

    UPD
    If in config IC2 set,
    soundSourceLimit=8

    # Enable sounds
    soundsEnabled=true

    FPS drop was terminated, but the processor is still loaded with up to 60-70%

    If set soundSourceLimit=2 FPS drops again. Mistery...
