So.. can KB proceed with creating a testserver now?
[MC 1.2.5] Test Release 1.97
-
-
I did update KB's server, see the OP.
-
RichardG has full access to the server. I'll hop on it tonight.
-
Still testing.
Elec Jetpack doesn't appear to work at all.
Normal Jetpack appears to work just fine and properly finally when landing.
The sounds don't appear to respect the MC volume control. Set to 0 and I still hear the jetpack. The sounds also follow you for a long ways and don't drop off.
Qsuits don't appear to drain energy when used. The helm does though appear to work. Take the damage sound and animation when I land from jumping but no hp is lost.
Can't get the toolbox to work. Well, it does work but I have to remove it from my inventory by selecting it and putting it back in and the it updates. Then it never gives back the tools. When I log back in and open the box, my opens drop on the floor.
Transferred energy from one battery to the next and the other did not update until I clicked on it. Same with tools, requires an update to take effect. -
the volume setting should be fixed in git
-
Electric jetpacks is due to NBT tags not being supported in the creative inventory on MP, that applies to any tool, recharge it.
-
Charging the jetpack fixed it. It appeared charged.
-
Retry Qsuit and Toolbox with manually crafted versions as well, I suppose?
-
Does the attached toolbox class work any better?
It goes into the ic2 server jar at ic2/common
-
Worked player.
Tried Alblaka, same result.
I also don't know much about reactors so someone else will need to mess with them.
-
1.97 out, server updated.
-
Everything seems to work from the changelog except the Q suit pieces, the helm drains fine. I've tried to test most machines and items like the dynamite etc.
Sounds are better, but when you leave an area with sounds and return, the sound is lower than what it was when you left.
-
Released. Clap clap.
-
Let's wait for the wave of bugreports and "Omg, i installed modloader and forge and IC correctly but it doesnt work" posts.
-
I initially thought that wouldn't be possible due to the FML-ModLoader compatibility layer, but then realized that ModLoader kickstarts through the renderers and FML kickstarts through net.minecraft.client.Minecraft. Crash chance right there.
The RAPI draft includes interfaces for the reactor and chamber TEs. Item APIs will come soon, but it is DEFINITELY NOT ME who is going to edit the reactor code. I did so back when I tried making a RAPI, and hacks were ducttaped everywhere.
