Are you certain you aren't using IC2 1.95? In that version they were crafted with insulated copper cables instead of 2x insulated gold

Sorry it took so long to reply guys, looks like i edited my post just as someone posted, it is 1.95, and thanks CrafterOfMines it was copper cables
