This is cheaper and a Mark I.
And a replacement for the 140 eu/t.
But here is a tip for you: Don't use reflectors as they are really expensive, and certainly not in such a way you need to replace them twice or four times during a cycle.

Iam not updating the first post anymore someone else has to do it i dont have time for it.

Either nobody cares, or nobody is actually reading the posts on the thread.
I've offered to take over (mostly because I'm apparently the only one offering) but don't believe its possible for me to do that without mod intervention.

Here is my youtube videos for Mark 1 EA* 140 EU reactor.
Basically this design gives you the highest efficiency, also you can see an autoloader system for neutron reflectors and fuel rods, which is also sustaining the generation of power more than 13 hours, and finally a message screen that gives you warning when reactor is out of fuel, or reloading fuel, over heated, closed because overheated, closed because mfsu is full, .
I'm thinking about a video that explains the logic circuits that i 'have used in this system.
Edit note: This mark1 EA* system is more expensive than the one in the first post ,stated in the best designs section, only advantage of this system is the ability of refilling itself and control mechanisms.

This kind of cooling needs continuous maintenance with redstone or lapislazuli, so efficiency goes down a little bit in practise, you should use something like coolant cell so that it can cool itself down, not with your help.
I mean that's what i thought, but good output though...

this reactor i came up with is able to be scaled to any number of chambers.
-
18 uranium cells are used in this layout, for 250 eu and 2.78 efficiency,
this is a little bit low, you can get nearly the same amount of energy with only 8 uranium ores, which is crafted as quad cells. Also you can gain an efficieny like 6.For example http://i45.tinypic.com/2qmm8gn.png
Or you can craft 2 reactors with 4 chambers for each one and can use Ricks' Mark 1 EA* layout, which is located at the first page.

His design at least runs, that will melt down very quickly witbhout gregtech (even aside from the ridiculous running costs)
-
That wasn't Gregtech, and you should only need a couple redstones to fresh up that red module, so that you can use it again.
Also in planner, it says FULL CYCYLE, no meltdown, why do you think it will meltdown?
Am i wrong in somewhere?
-
That RSH burns out after 119 seconds. No way to remove it and put a new one into the same slot without Gregtech. You'd probably need redpower to handle the timing as well.
-
Then why does Reactor planner says it can last Full cycle? I must be wrong in something?
-
the planner simply assumes that you replace the RSH when it melts, or that you feed it with redstone somehow

Oh, ok thanks, i didn't know that...

Read a lot on the cheap breeder and subsequent posts by treecutter and scavier.
used treecutters http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.blueyonder.…j5a3s8ojmospjv9
then tried
http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…9zrio5rdfgpt4tkl2uinqopg5
doesn't look like it'll blow up. shows same breeder stats as the previous one. just higher heat and can auto below hurt which is nice for me as i throw 2 of these into my workshop room without worry.
takes 19 - 23 heating cells -

I came up with a hybrid reactor design and thought I should share it.
