Modding Tutorials

    Could someone point me to some decent tutorials for modding (preferably with source code)? I want to get started on a project that's been rattling around my head for some time, but all of the tutorials I've found are grossly outdated.

    passinglurker had some good links in this thread , although if I remember they are a mix of modloader(which should be compatible with Forge) and straight up Forge, if you can make anything of it, there is also the Forge API documentation here.

    Is the answer to this question no?

    I'll keep an eye on the Forge docs, and it would seem that the thread that lurker linked to is really out of date, but I think the theory is the same.
