Ok so now I am really confused on how to get a charged re-battery. Use a generator? Nope need a charged re to make one. Put it in a batbox? Nope you need a charged re to make one. So how do you get a charged re? thanks! I know I must be missing something but I can't find out what that is.

You can make them without a charged one, but recipe books show it as hidden.

to everybody it does, same happens with MFE and MFSU recipes, but you can use batteries/crystals/lapotrons with any charge and it will work.

Will you get the charge from the devices used? Seems silly, but given that we are talking about blocks and not items, it may be pointless to use a charged component.

You don't get the charge. And we are able to use charged components for convenience (when we have a charged component and don't want to wait till it discharge and don't care about its energy stored)
