Another thing is that TT-TC3 transmutation is based on aspects, so you can't transmute for example a million cobble into something very expensive.
To get a diamond with it you need the following aspects 16 purus (16 quartz), 16 carus (16 smooth sandstone) and 48 victrus (16 glass). That would produce lots of flux with leftover aspects.
Fair enough, much better then EE, but i do think that smooth sandstone for carus is too easy ;p

I saw it, looks good, but same problem as EE had, you want something like diamonds to be expensive, but if Transmuting, when you transmute it back it becomes OP becuase it gets you alot, but meh. Time is one of the major resources many mods overlook, since it is the only resource you can never have enough of.
Except that they added a slimeball recipe. and even with 3/4 loss it would be overpowered, you also have to limit what it can be converted into. though, from what little I have seen of pahimar's plans, it seems like he may be heading in this direction.

What i would like to see is a more advanced version of TC3's transmutation, since that isnt really OP.
Even without Zombie Spawners, getting Zombies is totally OP. Seriously, you can make an infinite Villager breeder and infect as many Villagers as you need. But yeah, totally not OP in comparsion to using Glowstone Dust, Redstone Dust and a Slimeball.
Back on 1.1 with EE1, if i hadnt had Mo Creatures installed i would of never found that slime ball ;p
And Gold dust and redstone makes glowstone, you can grind up gold dust with the iron mortar.
Display Morehello, and i have a suggestion, just like everyone else, except that mine isn't OP. The item(s) would allow the player to step up one block. The reason I am suggesting this is because ic2 does not have this feature. MPS has the stair stepper upgrade, thaumcrafts boots of the traveler also have the ability to step up one block but not ic2. The main reason I am suggesting this is because I am working on a modded minecraft map using the resonant rise modpack, with three different paths of ic2/GT, basically anything with MJ's, and thaumaturge/ARS magician, and though all three paths have flight, again ic2 does not have an item that allows the player to step up a block.

the easiest way to do this is probably to simulate riding a pig/horse while the player is wearing the boots

In my opinion MC's experience system doesn't fit IC2 and other tech mods at all, it's way too magic/exotic/unrealistic and a completely different way of obtaining better tools/weapons/armor from the more upgrade driven path we use.
Magic and Tech dont really go together anyway ;p
Oh, and while you are here Player, what about allowing Maceration of Poisonous potato's for Grin powder? On servers where mob spawns are low for somereason, it would really help.

Perhaps a SubSonic pair of pants? While wearing them, they give 50% increase to walking and sprinting speed, but while holding down Shift and Alt or something, it charges up the speed thing, could be represented on a bar in the HUD or under the Power thing, Takes a while to fully charge up (10 seconds?) and while charging up you cant move at all, but when you let go, you go insanely fast, with fully charged 3x as fast as Quantum sprint. Not sure how this would affect lag though, although with ice and the MPS sprint you can glitch and go like 200 blocks a second ;p
I usually go for Semifluids and find a bit of oil, then as soon as i got a stack or two of Copper i make a small nuclear reactor. Without Steam, Small ones are so OP early game.
It does work, just switch (ots more than just a switch) my Config to make RC Steel instead of GT Steel.
Never worked for me ;p the other unifications do just not RC's.
