That's self defeating. Either you have it completely random or not random at all. Being able to change it won't make people bother trying to experiment with something when it's not even necessary.

It just won't work, as the files would be complied for a later version of Minecraft, and would need to be called from the base IC2.class file, which they wouldn't. Your best chance would be an addon to get it, but no one's making mods for 1.2.5 anymore.

What you're describing doesn't sound that fun at all, it's basically IC2's Crop breeding mechanic but for batteries. The horrible randomness sounds even more frustrating than outright hardness gameplay wise.

It works and loads, but there are still some bugs. The ETC counters just say "Unknown" and the battery stations don't work at all. They just eat the EU from any inserted batteries.

Have I not been working on IC2? It only took me 3 hours to make this mod.
If it takes you 3 hours to make magic EU teleporting blocks, you should be able to fix the E-net in a matter of days

Since the size of the block/item images are changing, I had some ideas for changing the system for image naming.
- 16x16 used in the navigation - File:*name*.png
- 32x32 used for crafting grids - File:Grid *name*.png
- Random sizes meant to be for showing the icon on pages - File:*name* ig.png
But, with the new system, I decided we could keep the old 32x32 images for historical stuff. The versions can be reverted to pre-experimental so the classic pages make sense. Mainly as I can't be bothered to get all the old images to update them. 10 points for laziness! This does cast an issue on what the new 48x48 images are named, as I'm not renaming all the 32x32 ones to something else. Possible options:
- File:*name* 48.png (which is what they get dumped as)
- File:Grider *name*.png (a lazy and probably confusing option)
- File:*name* Grid.png (reversing it would work, but again could get confusing)
Any other suggestions would be nice, as those are just ideas, and nothing has been done that can't be changed to work with a new system.
If anyone has any other ideas generally about the wiki too I'd be happy to hear them, the wiki has been lacking large, new ideas for a long time. Feanturi never should have left -
Actually immbis' classic doesn't even try connect the cables (or at least they don't connect at all), and immibis is sensible and updated to 1.7.10, so it at least has a lightly higher chance of being fixed
