As nice it would be to have them I don't see anyone using them, as there's no way with IC2 that you'll ever get enough silver or iridium to make them in large numbers. Most silver adding mods add a block for anyway, and iridium is rarely collected in the same way copper for example is to need a block form. That is unless you just want them for decoration.

The newest build (545) is fine

Refined iron is crucial to making advanced machine casing and refined iron item casings are used to make the kinetic steam generator. You're unlikely to need more than a stack at most. Unless you make refined iron windmills or turbine blades, as they take quite a lot, but last a long time.
-
You'll need to update IC2 in order for them to be useful, as they can be turned into biogas and either fuel the fuel powered jetpack or used to make EU or hU.
-
With such a vague and general list of things which might be in, it's hard to come up with suitable names

Friendlier IC2 Mod
IC2 compat addon
IC2 crap stuff addon
EE2 1.7.10 definitely addonThings like that?

Can IC2's biogas made interchangeable with Forestry's bioethanol, or at least work with Forestry's biogas engine? It seems really annoying to make 2 different ways to ferment plant matter into a fuel when really they are the same.

But MFR, Nether Ores, the rest of the RF club! On the plus side, Open Blocks has a beta out, and open blocks is fun too

Although the Blast furnace uses hU/t which seems not logical in this case, too
The blast furnace is solely used to make refined iron, while both the thermal centrifuge and induction furnace make other stuff. The variety makes it more interesting too
-
That's kinda what NEI was invented for, it tells you all that.
-
how about replacing the redstone signal heat from the Induction Furnace and Thermal Centrifuge to hU/t?So the two machines would require EU and (the new)Heat to run.
Having them need Heat and EU seems unnecessary, as they are EU powered machines so heat would be generated from inefficiencies in cables anyway. The redstone isn't heating them anyway, merely keeping them using EU to generate and maintain heat.
There could be Heat-transferring pipes to make the work for transferring heat easier to the machines
Heat pipes make no sense, as all they would do it makes machines need more heat and lose more heat than they're worth. That and suddenly you only need 1 Stirling generator for all your heat generators.

Got a thought regarding a tweak of condensation in the Kinetic Steam Generators: It should not be 20C when it comes out of the KSG, it should be just under 100C, as it has only just condensed.
You're doing it wrong. You need to get a buffer of distilled water, even a tiny one, because as long as the amount of water in the boiler doesn't drop, the temperature doesn't. The same things happens with water, you just keep pumping it in and sustaining the 10000 mb of water, it'll stay at 100 C. -
The EU thing has been fixed. It's all down to how high they are, and how close any other windmills are.

But the Cutter can indeed have a real Purpose, like for example cutting Logs inot Planks without having to use an Autocrafter (I hate using Autocrafters, I always try to make Machines and Recipes to avoid them)
Hate to ruin it, but the wood recipe has been removed. There really should be a sawmill or something along those lines.
Yeah 1 Block = 9 Plates, that should be the proper amount since 9 Ingots/Lapis = 1 Block and 1 Lapis/Ingot = 1 Plate. Everything else would be unbalanced and not OreDict compatible.
Nope, 1 Block = 12 Plates, but 1 plate macerated = 6 tiny piles of dust.
I think there is still a Compressor Recipe for 9 Lapis to 1 Lapis Block, which I added for convenience, this could be used to save on Metal Forming Energy Costs if the Cutter is cheap enough.
There isn't.

Is it just not making EU, or not spinning all together?
-
I thought there might have been another reason for it. Mantis is for bugs, not why questions.
-
but what happens if you put a 32 eu/t machine and it gets a 128 signal ( when the EU fix goes live) then the machine pops?
That'd happen anyway, as you wouldn't be able to put the fuse upgrade in before the machine explodes.

What are you trying to store all your power in? Batboxes are really cheap
