What part of "scrap is useless now" do you seem to require more time to understand?
The bit that means I need 4 and a half billion scrap for a q-suit. -
Well... That's if you use the vanilla Minecraft enchanting system. I don't know if you're already aware of this, but there is a mod called "Enchanting Plus" that adds an upgraded version of the vanilla table (the author grew tired of overriding the vanilla one) that will allow you to actually flat out choose what enchantment you want for a tool that is eligible for it (fe. Efficiency on a pickaxe). I've been using it for a while now and I adore it as I grew tired of the vanilla system.
I just use enchantment viewer -
Now I just need a constructive suggestion of how to do it better...
Make scrap better -
are you sure?
I'm not sure he's sure if it doesn't work -
-
Can't now. Your best bet is to change the config that makes the pannels need UUM.
-
If it makes it better than yes. If it's just more work then no.
How come core mods just go in the mods folder again? Why did we ever need a core mods folder to start with? Pre 1.3 when forge needed Modloader and ModloaderMP it didn't have core, 1.6+ it doesn't have core - what was so special about 1.3 to 1.5?!

At best just get a bunch of useless graphite.
You could get arty with all your hot graphite -
still on 1.2.6 and some crazy people are playing on it.
It only ever went up to 1.2.5 "Slowpoke" -
Silktouch isn't that easy to get
-
Make it config. That way people can choose what's not OP to them.
-
Really, is it faster than MPS's?
Even if it is, how much more expensive is LevelStorage's flight compared to MPS's? -

- add a config setting to remove vanilla ender chests — player
Really? Nothing to do with nerfing Forgecraft 3 by any chance?

It still goes through lead, but lead is a dense material and so requires less of it to stop gamma radiation. 1cm of lead to reduce intensity by 50% while it'd take 4.1cm of granite, 6cm of concrete, or 9cm of soil to achieve the same. So..denser material = better shielding. Can we say dense lead plates possibly?
Though your post does point out an interesting problem. the hazmat suit is made of rubber and orange dye and not lead..so..just of what use is it then?
Orange dye is magical when it comes to gamma radiation.

either be molten diamond (not even possible I believe)
It's possible. 3500°K I would say though. So it wouldn't really benefic though ^^.I'm not swimming in 3500°K water.

Using his code as inspiration, but not copying. Like me in exams.

The crash itself is causes by Chickenbone's microblocks by the looks of things.

Hired! Just don't be a idea maker (as in, don't make more ideas for more things. Like for example, a nuclear engine (I'm totally stealing that! :P) ). PM me your Skype name if you have one.
Sweeeeeet I take it we've got enough on our plates as it is without anything else to make? -
Regarding the exploits: Like I said, these were not really in my mind since you don't really use them too often, at least in the modpacks I play, I will take the exploits out then. Another thing I would be really interested in are your opinions on balancing my mod. On my GregTech Survival World, I gathered some sheep early and used the wool in the generator instead of coal (those went into Coke Ovens) or Wood/Charcoal, which I thought was pretty handy..maybe a little too handy? But that's just GregTech, in normal IC² I doubt wool farming would be a viable early game energy generation.
Interesting idea burning wool. As long as it doesn't provide silly amounts of EU I think it's a pretty good idea actually.
