Thinking about it, I do have Aroma's Uncomplication installed for the old E-net, guess that's the reason it's screwing up if it works fine without it?

First of all, I have no idea if this should work at all. Basically, I'm chaining wires between Junction Boxes with nothing attached, and that works to transfer power. At least it works for the first 6500 EU, then it stops. And it remains broken until I break + replace the middle junction boxes, then it works again for 6500 EU and then breaks again. Any ideas to why this happens?

You have your 6 chamber reactor in the middle, then Reactor Pressure Vessel blocks in a 5x5x5 cube around it, leaving the 20 air blocks between the shell and the reactor. Providing you don't have the hatches+ports on any of the edges of the 5x5 face it should form fine.
Instead of EU, it takes coolant and produces hot coolant. The hot coolant is where you get the power from, using stirling generators, steam, superheated steam or biogas.

To be fair most of the mechanics of the machines in pre-experimental videos would be accurate, just different block textures.

So... I just noticed that I didn't even have gregtech installed (whoops). Anyways, now that I did, I found another incompatibility: Dense Ores. With gregtech 5 and dense ores, when you create a world, it takes up the name for the world, but doesn't actually let you play it and instead boots you to the title screen. When you go back into the single player menu, it displays as if you have no worlds at all (not entirely sure how that works). I removed dense ores after I discovered that it was most likely causing issues, but I thought I should inform you.
That's Tema's fault for not checking if a machine recipe exists before adding it: https://github.com/rwtema/DenseOres/issues/75 With Gregtech disabling normal ores, I don't see the need for dense ores anyway.

You're still using 484, which was the last version for 1.7.2 and so it's not surprising it doesn't work anymore.

Water mills have had their recipe removed, and kinetic water generators should be used instead. You can make a new thread if you want help with those.
