NEI bug, it's quartz stairs that work. Stone stairs don't even go in the macerator.
Well, that's not strictly true. Stone stairs metadata 7 go in, but can't be crafted. Stone stairs metadata 0 can be crafted, but don't go in.

Added catalytic thermal cracking recipe for fueloil.
Woo
Also sack is nerfed.
Awwwww. How so?
I think the suggestion is sensible, but it should really be IC2 adding it to the combustion engine's recipe list (they've got an API for that right?). We already add a bunch of gate options, so why not that as well?
Turning off channels is the closest you're going to get. Updating a mod as big as AE would be a lot of effort for a very small player base.
Replaceing that mechanic would either require a lot of work or a lot of ASM hackery. The first one I try to avoid, because it means a lot of work, the second one I try to avoid, because it is (in most cases) avoidable, not proper work and causes problems.
The only hack I did with IC2 was, I ASM'd one single Annotation in the code. That's it. I wouldn't even consider that a big hack.
You've finished school, if you're not set tasks to make your mind think it'll melt away.
When I thaught about EU Detector cables, I was 99% sure, they wouldn't work. Not only because of the EU mechanics change, but also because of the Multi-Packet support the Classic E-Net has.
I take it that it's impossible to fix without changing things in IC2 itself (and upsetting Player)?

In case anyone wasn't aware.
Pigbears LaserMod was the original.
And i have the source. But it is to complicated to update it... Even rebuilding would take months...
Correct. Although updating it is really easy. You go here and bam, it's updated! http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping…-7-2-and-1-7-10

:O You're back! Gregtech 2 or 3 I'd say.
Are you going to fix SMP for the compat too?
I know, I found a bug literally seconds after taking the screenshot
I made an art, look how nice lasers are without doubles
Focusing on a certain point can be hard if the certain point is reliant on other things. Bearing in mind the kinetic windmills got a lot spent on them, it's only certain features that were more neglected than they should've been.
As for the random things added, it is their mod and they will add what they want regardless of the community. Pretty sure that's what Thunderdark said about it. I mean the big thing is we've got classic if you want to use it, and we've got experimental (optionally with my old texture pack, need to update that I think) if you want to use that. You should be happy enough that classic was allowed to exist. They could quite easily have not let Immibis release it, similar to his Redpower port that I'm pretty sure he did.
There are many why don't yous with IC2, but they're going to do what they're going to do. It's down to Player in the end.
You'd be surprised how hard it is to get values that precise. Getting 1/3 and 2/3 of an EU is very easy, apparently easier than 1/2 and 1/4.
How feasible would it be to add an item that can point you towards certain ores, especially the ones in IHL? The IC2 scanners help a lot, but it still forces you to wander around your world until you get lucky. Railcraft Saltpeter has a similar problem that is blends very well in the desert sand so spotting it can be very difficult to do.
In an unrelated suggestion, how about adding a cracking recipe to turn the fuel oil into fuel? On it's own it's not that widely used (it can only make mineral oil, that you don't need that much of for the amount of fuel oil you get) while fuel can be used to generate RF through Buildcraft as well as EU from the semi-fluid generator.
I mean people want explosions back, but I'd not really want them with 32.05679434565 EU blowing up all my LV machines.
Anyone guess what happens if you generate slightly more power than you use?
Doubles do.
That's because they don't work sanely. Mainly because Thunderdark never finished them.
They are however more in the game than Flame-throwers are.
