Somehow I think just 'IndustrialEx', or even 'IndustryEX' works pretty well
Turns out someone uses "Industrial Expansion". Going with "IndustrialEx" instead.

If this is made, other mod's wood should revert to oak, or there could be a system like factorization barrels where it auto detects the wood and stuff
I'd make an addon for Natura and other mods.

The current scaffolding looks like it is made of oak wood planks. So why not make it require normal oak wood planks, and then add other types of scaffolding with the other wood materials?

All vanilla materials have their compact blocks. Most of the IC2 materials have compact blocks too. Iron block, copper block, diamond block, tin block, etc. However, there isn't any silver or iridium blocks. I think there should be though :p

"Kinetic Expansion" , a mod that expands kinetic power usage/production. Gears, axles and all those things involved. Also maybe converting MJ kinetic energy into kU.
Bleah, there's already a dozen IC2 - BC conversion mods. Gears and axles might be interesting though.
Gave me an idea for a name though. Can't believe no one's used "Industrial Expansion" yet.

I was thinking about making my own IC2 addon. Not sure what it would do, maybe improve compatibility with other mods, and add more useful and cool stuff. The only problem is I don't know what I would name it. Name ideas anyone? :p

uh, so i tried adding new sounds. i saw that another guy had quite the similar problem so i followed what he did to fix it. but i'm still getting the same crash. i add the sound and when i place down the alarm, no sounds not even the defaults are in the list of alarms and if you try to click the selection area you crash.
i looked at my JSON file too see if something was wrong. i think there is not but if you wanna take a gander at it, il post it.

Please provide your config file, there's some stuff you need to do in there to get it to work. Also keep in mind if you're using 1.7.10 minecraft or java 8 we can't support you.

Updates are great, but I feel we need new addons to spice things up. Most people are bored with old ideas, we need new ones. Original ideas are hard to come by in this day and age though, with the known 5257 mods that exist it's hard to find something someone hasn't done already.

Meh, I say we can take all the help we need. Not sure if we need the help though, it would be more helpful to update Gravitation Suite , mak3264 was working on it, but he's stopped because of laziness.

not to sound demanding or all up in your face about it but anything getting added or anything cool in the hopefully upcoming version (pretty much can you give us a sneak peak at whats upcoming?) (you dont need to answer, if you want you can ignore this) (and yes i saw the other one for 1.7.10 sneak peak i believe?)
New recipes, hardcore gregtech recipes, new textures, new creative tab instead of the redstone/misc tabs, better mod support (with ore dictionary recipes :D), and the web upgrade might be removed or reimplemented. New sounds? I was thinking about trying to implement a machine to show where the nearest howler alarm is, since that block has been used for nothing but trolling :-p
