Actually my private server does, Mas fab's are not allowed.
We prefer a "Lottery" type system.

IC2 vanilla servers seem to stay private local servers.
With haveing multipul mods it allows for more people to play the way they want.You don't have to use RP2 on a server that has it.

I agree.I believe the bias towards the wooden Hoes was a April fools joke/ Easter egg that kinda flopped.

IC2 doesn't interact with paintings. Default textures, (where the paintings are stored) are in your minecraft.jar
all the IC2 textures and sprites are located inside the IC2.JarIf you are intrested i can whip up a quick texture pack for you. probably take me about 30-45 Minutes.

This can defiantly be added as a painting.
If you aren't familiar with texture pack creation just Google around a little and you should be able to find it. -
Just use your Lappack, yes it works in the crop analyzer.

I second this. I play on a large IC server as well and some of the bugs that don't have a public fix for months are quite annoying especially ones as major as jetpack fall damage/death, a nano saber being able to vaporize nano armour in one hit, IC crops not being able to be crouch-walked on (we can't harvest major cross-breeds without removing the outside plants anymore).
I do hope that you'll consider providing patches sooner and allow for more testing before release.

The server owner spends a lot of time testing the new IC versions, and usually disables most of it cos of the bugs. Can you just do 1 version where all bugs are fixed? I mean... we dont need new stuff all the time

Ill ignore the venting due to the fact that i believe that IC2 is being ran on full steam with the limited time constraints and budgeting (Remember, this is a mod, they arent getting paid)
IC2 is a hobby for AL and the Dev's, im not gonna smash you guys for sharing your opinion but with only 1 and 4 post your opinion doesn't have much strength. -
Hmm, maybe you could use a sticky piston to maybe disconnect the magnetizer? I'm not sure if that'd work.

This is more of an issue for mojang if they're distributing the game itself.
Not true, there distributing IC2 as well, they are both independent works, the only difference is one relies on the other.
Its equally andissue for both Mojang and for the IC2 Devs, Its doutful that Mojang would take legal action, from what ive seen they would rather focus on Dev instead of squashing pirates.And Fyi: I used to play on a Illegal version before i fell in love with MC, and thats also true for alot of people.

On the subject of you hosting with friends, have you thought about letting afew people in? Its hard to find a well run server and i am tired of hosting my own.

The alternate Recipe works, I overlooked the fact that the battery MUST be charged.
Changed and updated.
Recipe for 1.95b uses ins. Copper cable.
Recipe for 1.97 uses 2x ins. Gold cable. -

Why not use this and constantly try to pump cells into the reactor ? It would produce less heat and thus, need less coolant cells.
Its a good design, i might try it in a test world.
If your using red power why not take advantage of the extractor, have it remove nearly melted coolant cells, send them to a secondary cooling reactor, then send them back when there cooled off?
Im not a tin pincher but why melt coolant cells if you don't have too?

Like Oilreed, the black cell is an unused sprite. Yes, was meant for IC-oil before BC was faster

2 things is the server still up and what is forestry?d
1. Try typeing in the IP in MC, if it appears its still up.
2. Forestry is a build craft plug in, though its grown so large its larger than build craft its self. -
The only thing im only actually expecting from that API its making installation of mods a walk in the park, for the rest there is always forge

Not that I actively code on IC2 at the moment, or have kept up on what forge and modloader and everyone is doing 100% but I guess that timeframe would probably be open for me, if none of the other devs want to
