From my substantial amount of time on the forums I have come to learn a few things that i will gladly share with you.
1.) Currently [Alblaka] is on extended leave trying to deal with personal things and find more inspiration for industrialcraft. (Not too different from our beloved Notch.)
2.) IC2 is loved by its players and developers alike, if and only if the entire development team abandoned the project would it become open source.
3.) In the event that IC2 was fully abandoned I would bet that [GregoriusT] would be the first non IC2 developer to be able to take over the mod.

Which reactor plan do you use?
Yes i agree that Geo generators are OP but only if you spam them.
In past builds I would limit myself to about four. -
Hey guys I am curious, What do you guys use to power your bases from early to end game?
obviously it should be "Generator-> ??? -> Fusion reactor" but what do you use in between? -

Just in case you guys didn't know, current IC2 teleporters can teleport dropped blocks and items. but, you guys were talking about placed blocks weren't you?

Fortunately BC is open source, anyone want to try improving their pipes? Because in the absence of RP2 for 1.5 there is no good early game
item transportFalse, Redpower 2 has a relatively early game item transport system.

I think you are using an older version of industrialcraft2 that isn't compatible with 1.5.2 (About 90% sure).

I completely forgot about watermills as well, I never really used them.Would the static boots be considered a type of mobile dynamo? it is a different method but it still exchanges food for energy. The recipe is also basic enough to be crafted at a low tech level.

what version of IC2 and Thaumcraft are you using? i suspect a version compatibility issue.

I like the idea of consuming scrap instantly, maybe charging a bar or amplifier and increasing the chance of scrap creation?
I also support scrap as a liquid but only as a config option.

I understand wanting to convert food into energy but i have a few gripes with it.
To keep the dynamo balanced the output would have to be rather low.
Due to the way IC^2 is coded 1EU/tick is the minimum, anyone who has used a straight solar panel to charge a battery or a tool knows it takes forever.So if a dynamo was implemented at the minimum 1EU per tick all other generators would have to be buffed.
I like the idea of having an alternative source of power early game but it would take quite a bit of coding and balancing.

I really like the idea of having a multiblock nuclear reactor.
From my experiences playing with other people, they are afraid of reactors because they have the possibility of melting down and nuking all there hard work.Needless to say this would be a lovely addon.
(Also, Congrats on typing a readable suggestion, they are very rare now days.)

I would suggest using the reactor planner in the Gregtech® computer cube, it is the most effective way of making sure your Gregtech® plans work correctly.
