I lowered my tower to 178 and not a single one has broken yet.

5 reeds in one barrel has never killed me and gives 30s resistance and 30s fire resistance.
Pretty good trade actually. -
Is the top windmill at 178?
-
Yes, best to copy your server-side config files to the clients.

I like the quantumsuit having weaknesses.
I'm currently trying to make REP (WRCBE) stun people that wear qsuits.
Quantumsuits aren't overpowered, they simply have no counter atm.
This could be useful and i definitly support this kind of suggestions. -
Or, a single piece of tin close to the first batbox that gets energy from one tower.
That way the generators should stop working once it exceeds 5eu/t.
Or create a platform with waterstreams to catch the flown-away ingots. -
Absolutely stunning.
It's modern and slick.
Thanks for making it -

7) Quantum bomb
It's range is smaller than TNT's but it can destroy even bedrock (2kk damage).
You do know that explosives only make use of their blast power value?
An explosion with a power of 10 will do a max damage of 10 to surrounding blocks. Basically, each block has a explosion resistance. Let's say you put that bedrock-TNT in there, you would blow up entire MC world.
As, explosion resistance is:
seeing a normal world, it would kill 7200000 dirt blocks, or 600000 Stone blocks. Or 3000 Enchantment tables for that matter. So it could be extremely usefull
No.

Mostly rock, metal and punk:
B182, Sum41, Foo Fightersm, Rise Against, Skillet, BFMV, etc)
Orchestral music too:
Mostly use it for filmmaking (Think X-ray Dog, Two Steps from Hell, Audiomachine, West-One and immediate music)
Some undefined other music. No direct dislike/like of anything actually.Hmm,
QuoteEspecially whilst flying/battling hordes of enemies, it seems to match the atmosphere of the game.
Nothing beats pure PvP action with this kind off in the background: (Ol'brick days)

All done, good luck have fun with the results :).

If your run a server through bukkit, as most hosters do, you can easily install a mob-drop plugin that allows you to remove the iron dropped by golems.
Again, forcing hosters do completely disable iron golem farming because they want to run IC2 won't work.
This however gives a hoster a choice of what he wants. But it does make you dependant of the plugin in question. -
Patience is key, fe I always wait atleast 1 week before even considering the new version.
Heck, I was still enjoying 1.0.0 when 1.2.3 came out. -
Use Computercraft the robots there are called turtles, can place/mine blocks, have a 3x3 inventory and are programmable with LUA.
Copying another ones idea is never good.
-
Haha, yes, I did base it off the terran scv. Especially the legs and the body. I'm planning to redo it though. As the bot is in my opinion not 'blocky' enough.
-
Remote, live feed is something difficult to make. And these bots where intended to be assisting, ran by program of some sorts.
One thing I know is that the model is entirely NOT minecraft-ish. I will try to rework it. -
Hello everyone.
In the archieves was a suggestion that might be included in the future of IC2.
Hence, I, tried to imagine what these bots might look like.
I made a simple model for it. Although I think it's not 'blocky' enough. And overall detail is yet non-existent, but I made it to put op a little physical viewpoint. I am pretty sure Tahu and Fean will make it alot nicer ;).
Tell me too what you think it might look like.Video. (Lighting and quality are a bit poor.)
Image. (No textures yet, just plain grey)
Image2.
Image3.In my eyes, they should be actually be mod-able. In my case I made the model have 2 arms that can have modular equipment. Different weapons (swords, mining laser, etc) would give different arms and different effects. Using the implementation of programming shown in the original thread. You could have a drill and a weapon, that way the bot would mine stuff for you, and has a capability to properly retaliate.
One arm contains a drill. the other one is left over for another tool/weapon.And the reason that I placed this inside the screen shots folder is that I do not want to flood the suggestion area with a pre-existant suggestion that is only intended for some points of discussion.
I'll listen to whatever constructive criticism you may have. I can try to edit the model if your statement seems to be valid.
Original Idea: -
Brick said he wouldn't update the client until he can bulk-move a new load of 1.1-updated mods.
He will also need to rebalance Al's overclockers and other things he deems overpowered or 'cheap'.Happy building.
(Btw, deFence seems nice for looks. But you could just copy/paste the chainlink texture onto notch's iron bars
-
Since i heard multiple people complain about not being able to find the rules, they were buried in brick's blog
QuoteRules clarification
ALLOWED :1. Attacking other players for any reason, and taking their stuff.
2. Taking things out of the chests belong to other players if you USE THE ITEM in the next 24 hours. i.e., don't steal stacks of cobblestone if you are just going to horde it or throw it in lava. If a player complains that all their chests are empty, and I find out you did it, I'll assume you were griefing and ban.
3. Using another player's resources so long as they are automatically renewed.
a. You can harvest another player's crops or trees so long as you replant
b. You can use another player's energy supply or machines so long as you don't blow them up in the process.
c. You can tap another player's power system or reroute their oil supply or reroute their quarry piping as long as you don't break anything.
BANNABLE :
1. Breaking SIGNIFICANT blocks belonging to another player. If you break cobblestone in a wall to get in, or add a button to an iron door, that's ok. If you smash a machine or something expensive, that's a ban.
2. Use of nukes, TNT, or nuclear reactors within the blast radius of another player's blocks.
3. Attacking another player so frequently that they effectively can't play.
4. Smashing a bed is a 4 hour ban.Accidents happen. If you cause an accident (hit someone's base with stray mining laser fire, or set off a creeper) you have a chance to repair the damage. Refuse to repair the damage or log off, and that's a ban.
Ban durations will vary depending on how decent a player you have been to others, and how impressive your own creations are. If you build nothing and spend all the time griefing, the ban will probably be permanent. If you help others and build an elaborate mega-factory, the ban will probably be less than 24 hours. -
For your info, the Dynamic DNS is down. Direct IP is: 199.167.135.109.

Edit:
For those intending to use the portal between Dubnet and Brick's server. Keep in mind that:
To avoid duping, your inventory will get wiped when you, for example, are in Bricks server, take the portal to dubnet, logout and login to bricks server again. Your inventory will be lost.
