Read the thread and use some common sense:1. RedPower is still 1.4.7 (unless you use Project Red or RiM or MFFS or AppEng)
2. You can't interact with machines and redstones while moving.

Makes sense! But how to make it... Perhaps a bronze or iron sword, with an advanced electric circuit below it, with iron all around, maybe you get an inert chain sword from that, and you just combine that with an advanced battery?

Please no! I installed NEI to get away from research! Thaumcraft adds a neat little minigame, and is required for balance, this doesn't help balance for IC2.
