NEI bug. Roll it back to an earlier version.

This guide has been EXTREMELY helpful, it's helped on every step of the way. In the electroindustrial era, the EU storage portion with the large charger, is one suppose to manually maintain it? Meaning the energy pack in the first slot will drain, but once said pack is empty, the second one will not empty until the previous one is removed, if that makes any sense.
I never had this bug, but you aren't the only one experiencing this issue. Probably an inter-mod thing breaking it. Post in the GT thread. -
I am just going to add this to my single player world soon but before I do I was just wondering if green dye had its own variation in your mod because I do not want this making obtainability of pipe waterproofing easy. If not could you add a config.
Every dye has its own dye version. And a cactus farm is trivial to make anyway :p -
GT pretty much fixed this today. Update GT and it should work as intended.

Try placing a hopper above the metal former and see if the interface attached to that hopper does the job.
-
- Due to the Redstone centrifuge recipe, Ruby Dust is actually easier to acquire in massive quantities than Diamond Dust, making Energium substantially cheaper in GT compared to IC2.
-
Document IC2? Pretty sure some people would like knowing IC2 math for the more obscure features, like crops/terraformers.

You cannot cool reactors using water anymore. Instead, use heat vents, or coolant cells (for CRCS-style reactors, which will function similarly to your old water/ice cooled reactors).
If you use quad cells, the running cost is 2 copper per quad cell per cycle. Otherwise there is no running cost except uranium/MOX fuel.

There's no electricity in Better Than Wolves, you must be thinking of another mod.
It's also not supposed to be compatible with anything else; BtW is balanced around itself only. It has a specific Biomes O' Plenty plugin that generates terrain using only vanilla and BtW blocks, but that's as far as you can mod it: BtW-specific plugins.

@Nonatan
I can agree with you on gregtech being a tech mod, but there is no other mod that makes the game this hard and I enjoy these challenges. I seem to view gregtech differently than other players. Most view it as another mod. I view it as an extension to vanilla Minecraft that allows you to achieve more at the cost of more time. If I have a bronze age grinder that means I can get more out of an ore than I could in vanilla and therefore that makes greg's annoying nerfs just another step forward in exchange for good things. To sum this up I think Gregtech with hard setting all the way up is a bit to easy in some areas. Specifically animal farming. You have to pay more for better things and getting tons of materials on one piece of ore should be more costly.
Though one thing that does make me crazy is when greg adds a whole new step of challenge and doesn't add anything there. If he is going to add nerfed animal drops he should at least add some form of electric sheer that can get 1.5 output on wool or a skinning knife that if you kill a cow or chicken with will get you more leather or feathers and maybe even a butcher's cleaver for getting more meat and even getting lamb chops from lamb.
Actually if you're looking for a mod that's an extension of vanilla, go with Better Than Wolves. It's an order of magnitude harder than GT and feels much more like vanilla minecraft than GregTech.Yes, it nerfs animals, in more ways than you think.

- You can screwdriver the output face of a buffer to regulate the output stack size.
-
First, update IC2-experimental to the latest version, and try to recreate the problem.
If that does not resolve the problem, post the FULL logs either as an attachment or a pastebin link.
-
- The Sturdy Grinder grinds most things that a Universal Macerator does, but at half the output if it is an ore block.

Post little GT tricks and things that people might not know here! One fact per post, to give other people a chance to respond.
I'll start:
- You can screwdriver metal/wooden plate covers to allow items/fluids/redstone through that face.

Simple question-how do I power Radioisotope Thermal Generators?
I've tried plutonium,which didn't work.
Craft an RTG Pellet with 3 plutonium and 6 Dense Iron Plates (54 iron total). Fill an RTG with five pellets to get 16 EU/t. -
Also, which mods add Steam and what are their modIDs (if there are any besides GT and RC)?
Pretty sure RC is the primary steam mod. Factorization Solar Boilers also make steam, but I think that's it.Also, why is there no FluidDictionary?
There's a FluidRegistry. Works similarly to the oredict, which is why GT oil/diesel will burn in everything that takes BC oil/fuel.EDIT: also, what is the new fibre glass recipe? Xx
G G G
E S E
G G GG = Glass
E = Energium Dust
S = Silver DustThis makes one cable. Have you not updated GT and ic2 in your dev environment? Might be a good idea to do so, due to a lot of recipe/item changes in recent GT.
