Sorry for posting this again, but what is the problem here? This and ChargePads are the last two addons needed for me to complete my IC2 collection. I realize that ChargePads for 1.108 will be released in the next few days.

It's implied that the end user would understand that this open beta of IC2 for MC 1.4.2 would require the latest version of Forge for 1.4.2.

After seeing a random Modspotlight, i added Electrum Ingot/Dust. Crafted out of Gold and Silver Dust. Electrum is now used instead of Gold inside my Machinerecipes and instead of Silver in the cheaper Circuitry. That was the use for Gold i was looking for.

It may be possible to layer the textures but that would require two image files (the original & the grid) and some rather esoteric code to "merge" the textures. Unfortunately, the code escapes me, you might be able ask one of the other major modders for help (cpw for instance, that guy's amazing) though.

I was JUST wondering about this one. Sucker's aggressive as hell, and intelligent, though considering it's the same post over and over, I'm think the creator was smart but the bot's got the words hardcoded into itself.

If you would look back in the thread I bit, I said that I had a conversation with pahimar about EE2 blocking flight functions, he confirmed to me (and I posted the message here) that this WILL be fixed in EE3, so don't hope for it, know that it will happen.

I've used both before. I'm fairly certain that I'm not confusing either.

If anything, I think the API might've changed and AS wasn't aware of the change (I'm guessing at this) or he increased the rarity of the ores (I don't know to tell the truth). It's always good to ask questions though.

Actually, I think Atomic's rendition of Nether Ores removed IC2 support as the API for 106 or 107 wasn't published at the time. I think if you and other people bug AS enough, he MIGHT re-add support.

I'll keep an eye on the Forge docs, and it would seem that the thread that lurker linked to is really out of date, but I think the theory is the same.
