I believe I've found a bug with the grinder:

If you run out of EU in your storage while it's running, it'll reset, and if you aren't producing enough EU to keep up with it, it'll just keep eating what you produce and then resetting when it runs out. This isn't really a big problem but it's inconsistent with all other machines. The actual bug part, however, is that I removed the wire, let my MFE charge to about 60k EU, then placed the wire back. The grinder now gets to about 80% done processing the ore, then resets back to 0% even though there's plenty of power. It just keeps doing it until it drains the MFE.

No. Machines don't waste power. If their internal storage is 800 EU, and 2 is used, if it gets a 32 EU packet it will have 830 EU stored. It will then request EU again when it's internal storage dips below it's maximum.

Nope, quite often the items fly a little wild and just get lost. I've noticed this happening basically since the magnet feature was introduced, on builds with and without Forestry.

Slightly off-topic, but has anyone else noticed that NEI's magnet mode seems to lose a lot of items? As in, they don't get sucked into your inv, just destroyed.

edit. there's also a second problem with luminators, if they once recieved power they give light forever, even if you remove the power source, the luminator gives light

You're overloading the luminator and causing it to explode. You're also describing the e-net ghosting bug that's been known forever and fixed in everything except for luminators. The luminators also have internal storage and will stay lit until the internal storage runs out.

You're measuring the batbox itself, getting input and output. Try measuring the wire itself and you'll see expected results.

Agreed. Passing the wrench directly would actually be more efficient because you wouldn't need to perform several dereferences to access it.

If you start a world using different block IDs, Minecraft will automatically remove any invalid ID saved in the map so it doesn't crash. If you didn't make a backup of your world, you're out of luck. Don't test beta versions of mods (or even update mods) without making backing up anything important to you, or things like this will happen.

It can't mine ores if there's other blocks in the way. It has to mine the cobble/dirt that's in the way to get the ores.

Turning weather off in optifine doesn't change anything other than what you see.

Short answer: denied. Infinite water source -> way too overpowered. Please use the search function next time as this has been suggested and denied many times before.
