You're entitled to your opinion, as poorly-formed and ill-founded it may be - and I'm equally entitled to tell you what I think of it.
Don't presume to imagine that you've "discredited" anything - the facts still stand. Eloraam's license is exactly what it states, no matter what you imagine it's based on. Use of her mod equals consent to the terms of the license.

Despite all your carrying on, she was still within her rights to enforce that license and her fellow developers will not second-guess her in that regard, even if they personally feel differently about their own work. Nothing you've posted has changed Eloraam's license, her will to enforce it, or the cooperation she receives from her colleagues.

So basically, you've said a whole lot and accomplished nothing. You tilt at windmills and then get offended when people are blunt about the futility of it. You won't get Immibis' mod cleared, you won't get Eloraam to do anything she doesn't want to (though all this drama is more likely to make her just say 'to hell with it all' and then you're left defending an add-on for a mod that no longer exists).

You're right - this is not about me - it never has been. It's always been about you. You can say I'm the reason people "make it about me", but if your so-called "facts" stood for themselves, all you'd need to do is present them and be done with it.

So, considering that you've managed to convince no one so far, how's it about me again?

Anything above 32 clockers is completely useless as the code just sets the rate to 32 when its anything above 32
With 32 clockers the tick rate is about 1/250th of a tick, which gets set to 1 tick obviously, so even for the Macerator which has a very long operation length, the max effective overclockers is 17
Also in the Macerator, with those 17 clockers in it you will need 1971 eu/t or operation and it will do one operation per tick
    Get the idea here?

Yes, thank you for providing some data to support my comment that it's ridiculous to allow large stacks. I didn't have the numbers, but if more than 32 is useless and there's no real gain past 17... why, pray tell, did you set the stack size to 64 instead of 16?

Seems to me that it would have been a more sensible choice.

I don't see it as "silly" at all. Mind explaining?

Any time a machine needs 64 of something to run better... it probably should just have fewer of something more powerful.
Care to explain why adding 64 of a particular upgrade is more sensible?

I tend to use the Energy Link, PetroGen, and Engine Generators the most out of all the stuff in the mods. But the Lava Fabricator is nice too.
I'm hoping Pigalot gets Bucket Filler updated for 1.1 and then I can get the WaterGen back in, too.

I told them this way of implementation is stupid :O Would have preferred my tiered, unstackable overclockers.

Though I have yet to use them, I would have preferred it that way as well.
Perhaps in an upcoming version that can be implemented, with legacy recipes for the old ones. Like 8 of them around a circuit gives the Tier 2 version; 8 Tier 2s around an advanced circuit gives the Tier 3.

What I'm saying is, there isn't even a new sprite on the sheet for it. It's not that they share the appearance... they share the actual sprite itself, so changing its appearance would still result in both tools looking alike.
That tells me it's not really a "bug", because if it had been assigned its own sprite that was not added to the sheet, it would be invisible or a magenta tile or something like that.

I'm not sure where else to put this topic, so here's the best placer I guess.

I'm pleased to see the Electric Treetap finally officially appear in IC2 - but I'm concerned that it looks too much like the Electric Wrench.
EXACTLY like the wrench, in fact... and the reason is because they apparently use the same sprite. So there's currently not any way to make them look different from one another.
I'm concerned that this can cause some confusion - as well as unintentional wrenching of a machine by someone who thought they were holding their treetap.

I'm aware that the tooltip will tell you which is which, but the purpose of sprites is for quick visual distinction. I ask that the IC team consider assigning a unique sprite to the Electric Treetap for future versions. Thank you.

So... how would I feel if Eloraam packed up her mod and told us all to go to hell? Minecraft will still be Minecraft...pretty much the same. I'd miss the redstone wiring but that's about it.

Well, now... where would that leave Immibis? Suddenly, he has an add-on for a mod that no longer exists - and he's part of the reason why.

Seriously, you can say you wouldn't care if she cancelled RedPower, but if that's true, why bitch about the way she runs things? It's obvious that you do care, and more obvious that you feel you're more fit to tell others how they should manage their own creative endeavors. I guess I missed the part that gives you the right to decide how people may or may not restrict use of their work.

And you still continue to ignore the fact that Immibis needed her code to make his mod - not just because it works alongside RP, but because he had to decompile the code (in violation of the license) in order to do so.

You've still failed to convince me - all you've done is repeat the same opinions over and over, while we remind you of the facts that you refuse to acknowledge. But here's something to consider - it doesn't matter one bit what you think about the issue. Or what I think either, for that matter. Eloraam can and will do as she sees fit, and the law is on her side. No self-appointed champion of the people is going to change that. All you've done is taken issue with how each developer sees fit to manage their demesne. First it was Alblaka, now it's Eloraam... I guess the only one you have yet to go after is SpaceToad. Better start working on your overly long-winded post for his forums. I'm sure you'll find an issue to campaign against soon enough.

Also, most people may not have noticed that there's now an option in the config to allow Miners to accept Lapotron crystals. Not sure if they also accept energy crystals, haven't gotten back up to that point quite yet.

This is IC2 and BC we're talking about, nothing is balanced

So, your complaint is, you shouldn't have to cool an engine because it's your subjective opinion that some internal imbalance exists?
Why not just TMI yourself what you need as a "reward" for "putting up" with all the "hassle" these mods put you through?

One other thing to keep in mind... a VERY important thing...

Antics like this do nothing more than sour Eloraam's interest in modding. Why should she put in the effort and share her work when people will abuse her generosity and act against her wishes?
So it's entirely possible that defending unauthorized add-ons is just pounding a nail into RedPower's coffin. Without RedPower, Immibis' work is useless. So the people defending it are doing no one any favors.

Is your position so important that you'd rather be "right" than have RedPower to play? Because if it is, don't expect me to stand behind you on it.

Imagine what the game would be like without RedPower. Or say she decides that Forge was a bad idea, and the mods you currently use are no longer compatible with one another.
Then take a good, hard look at what you're contributing to that possible outcome.

Oooh - now that's useful to know! Thank you.
So, one could theoretically charge cells in one storage unit, and then "redeem" them in something of a higher tier for less loss... or use them to keep alower-tier unit charged in the field. I like.
