Bug galacticraft to update to IC² exp API.

To trigger a fusion bomb, you need a fission bomb, for both heat and pressure.
Stars fuses elements due the massive gravity that increases both pressure and heat.
A star also collapses due the same reason, as the massive gravity can cause protons and electrons to combine into neutrons, making a neutron star (or a blackhole, when the gravity is insane).Edit : Regarding "artificial suns", you are able to turn it off, by just not feeding hydrogen. Nothing bad will happen but then you would have to heat it up again.
Another note is that anything past hydrogen -> helium is not possible for artificial suns, as it requires even more pressure (gravity) and heat. -
Eh... RTG was fine IMO, but whatever, as long GT allows usage of GT plutonium for that sake.

PT-BR : "Reinforced Stone" é produzido quando se usa "CF sprayer" com CF liquido em um "Iron Scaffolding".
EN-US : Sirus already said it, also, i really don't want to explain how to produce liquid CF, in portuguese, i feel lazy to do any translations today.

PT-BR : O mod Biomes o' Plenty é que está causando o problema, reporte para o criador dele, e boa sorte. Parece que os blocos de folhas nao possuem texturas, causando o "crash".
EN-US : Biomes o Plenty seems to be causing the problem, try reporting this to BoP mod creator. Seems to be something related to leaves missing textures.

The input/output hatches do work (and extremely fast too), but they are quite difficult to automate as they only have 1 face that you can interact with.
Nothing that GT cant solve.
You can use Adv buffers, adv translocators, conveyor/pump covers and deal with it nicely.
I think a conveyor set to "export/allow input" and a sorter would do the trick. -
Hello
Here are my next 2 questions:Where to find silver ore ? Or isnt it in WorldGen yet ? Or region specific ? I only get some as a byproduct from ore refining, which isnt enough to fill my needs

And how to feed a RTG ? Plutonium dont work in any form....
tooborg
There is no Silver ore. You can obtain silver mostly from other mods, or as a byproduct from thermal centrifuging (purified) crushed lead ore.
RTG is fed with RTG pellets, made with a plutonium in the center of crafting grid and 8 iron ingots. -
If you really want a "silver" ore, you can install GregTech and a new world of ores will come to you (alongside a completely new gameplay), including galena [Silver-Lead ore].

Not sure if this is a good idea. IC2 by itself still doesn't handle liquid transfer elegantly. Also, it requires a rework of the recycler and another rework of the mass fab, which already got one; whereas changing the amplifier value of scrap but keeping the current system is much less work.
Mathematically... let's see. Average 1.85 pieces of scrap per recycled block. Average 1,110 amplifier per recycled block if scrap is used directly; as liquid with water, 2,775; with lava, 11,100. The numbers don't look pretty or intuitive, but it would be a significant buff from the current value of average 625 amplifier per recycled block. Maybe too much of a buff, even. Water is 4.44 times as powerful, lava 17.76 times as powerful as the current recycling system.
Maybe 1,200 amplifier per 50mb liquid scrap, and 150 mB per lava conversion would be better values.
Values are buffed because the new mass fabrication rework also increased scrap required (amplifier) by 10 times.
Liquid scrap is to "amplify" your mass fabrication in a hayoish way. -
As legit as scrapboxes from cobble making porkchop. :3

Isn't Scraps only use always been UU? Also, Note, the UU EU rate is customizable in the config. Don't like it? Change it. Also note, that in the future, Nuclear reactors and other generators are going to be much much more powerful.
What people disliked is the Scrap -> UU rate, which also increased 10 times (334 scrap and 1.666.667 EU for one UUM).
This one is not configurable by any means, and dont even need to, just apply my recycler suggestion :3, I even suggested to use already existing machines. -
industrialcraft-2-dev-deobf_1.117.921.jar
read this line carefully, multiple times if needed.
Basically, you are using the mod developer IC², used for IC² modding (addons).
Use the other one, preferrably IC² experimental (2.0) -
Scrap boxes should be easier to make, and more appealing for weird drops. No Gregtech style iridium needing machine to make them!

Well, the drops could be changed...
About machine, it could be a new block or use the thermal centrifuge, its devs option. -
Here I am, to propose a rework on the recyclying system :
Recyclers : All (non blacklisted) items when recycled will produce 1 to 4 scrap (1 scrap - 50% , 2 scrap - 25%, 3 scrap - 15%, 4 scrap - 10%)
Scrap (item) : can not be turned into scrapboxes anymore. Scrapboxes are going to be substituted by another machine.
New block, Scrap Liquimixer : (Canning machine "Liquid enrichment" mode maybe could do it)
Scrap can be "liquified" using fluids as additive. Water is the default liquid additive, other liquid additives will increase the yield.
1 Scrap + 50 mB water = 50 mB liquid scrap
1 Scrap + 50 mB lava = 200 mB liquid scrap
1 Scrap + 50 mB "liquid" = "value" mB liquid scrap (API, and some preset values for most common liquids as oil, fuel, honey, creosote ...)New Block, Centriscrapfuge : (Thermal Centrifuge maybe could do this, if a tank is added)
Uses liquid scrap to produce random items, just like the scrapbox.
1500 mB liquid scrap = 1 random itemMass Fabricator :
Scrap (item) can be used directly in the mass fabricator for 600 amplifier points
Liquid scrap can be used in mass fabricators as amplifier, 50 mB of liquid scrap will yield 1500 amplifier points -
Although i can agree that EU-cheap way route that requires 34 to 334 scrap is a bit expensive.
In my opinion, scrap generation should be reworked just like UUM, to give liquid "scrap", based on several factors (those are gonna be suggested by me sometime soon). -
Come on, massive block generators (or item generators) are not that hard to make.
A vanilla automated melon farm can do that, combined with vanilla minecarts and hoppers. The egg farm is also another "good idea" (except for the lag) to generate items.
Personally, i really don't care much about the scrap problem, you can always make more and more farms of any crap you can think of. -

YAY! After messing with OpenGL for 2 days, now I know basics of it! HOW AWESOME, IS THAT?!?!!
I have rendering code for the star, now the deal is how you get a star?
Like how do you craft it?...BTW, this thing is going to make you need hydrogen SO MUCH.
Like when you have hydrogen there, you're okay and getting tons of power, but when you run out of it, there is a boom going on.
Big boom. Like really big boom. And there will be no way you can turn it off/on.
Also, the thermonuclear generator will be a multi-block. (legit multiblock, not a GT-style one (like AE's MAC, RC's Blast Furnace))
You place the star in the center, surround it with 6 energy-ejectors and place reinforced (or supa-dupa reinforced) stone around it.
Pretty expensive overall, mby even 100 iridium plates per structure (but it's worth it, you can get up to 8192 * 6 EU/t from it)Do you know how our lovely sun and the fusion process works?
Let me fix up some things :
Our current Nuclear power plants already are thermonuclear generators. (IC² fission thermonuclear generator)Star Stages :
You can't simply "Place" a star. You would have to create one, that would be extremely dangerous and kinda impossible, i'd say.
Yours would be a "fusion reactor" after all, no excuses. You can name it to Artificial Star Thermonuclear Generator- Assuming you could do that, you would have to supply ABSURD amounts of hydrogen (deuterium) and apply an intense gravitational field to contain the hydrogen in a tiny space.
- After that you would have to "cook" the star (deuterium), until it starts the fusion reaction and can keep up itself.
- Then, it will keep fusing hydrogen to form heavier elements, until it runs out of fusionable material.
- Hydrogen will fuse together to form helium, then into carbon and oxygen, furthermore into neon, magnesum, silicon and sulfur. In the last stage, it turns into iron.
- After that the star completely ceases fusion reactions, stopping the energy production.
- Once the fusion process stops, the star will begin to collapse, which ends up on a supernova explosion.
- The supernova explosion will generate energy to fuse iron into something else, generating the heavy elements, which are expelled by the explosion.
- If the star is big enough, a neutron star or a black hole is created.
Edit : I'm too lazy to explain why each process happens, google "star cycle". - Assuming you could do that, you would have to supply ABSURD amounts of hydrogen (deuterium) and apply an intense gravitational field to contain the hydrogen in a tiny space.

Also, I have no idea what a universal macerator is. That's not in stock IC.
Why does IC require other mods to function as intended? That's completely loony.
IC, like all other tech mods are designed to work BEST when with other tech mods, like BC, RC, forestry, GT...
@universal macerator : GregTech block, answering Chocohead's question.
Want a stupid block (cobble) generator using only IC²? Use the miner alongside vanilla cobble generators. I just said, use your mind :3
