I recommend downloading a fresh copy of the installer rather than use the auto update feature for this release as ModloaderMP has been removed.
Apologies to anyone that uses the installer. I've been away on holidays and TWO updates came out which means I missed the 1.24 MC update and went straight to 1.25. I'll update the installer on the next release of IC2.
Cheers
There was some fun coding the multi launcher and the update service was interesting. I used an existing code library for the extraction so the installer doesn't need winrar etc installed. I'm looking at writing a simper version in java as mono can't convert this (too many Windows centric functions)
Thanks for the feedback!
This doesn't seem to be a virus.... can you add pics anyway?
Good idea - thanks

BC won't run if modloader or modloadermp are the wrong version. The only thing I can think of that may cause this is a version of forge that's compatible with BC but not IC2.
I can't even get iC to work at the moment, buildcraft loads just fine though.
If you're running a windows os, try the installer in this section. It installs all the base mods for you as well as IC2. You can then just copy the BC files to your mods folder. Check the threads on this forum to make sure what version of BC will run fine with the current version of IC.
If you're confident you have the correct base mods installed, then I suggest getting errortest.bat (from optifine on mcf from memory) so you can post the error log, otherwise it will be pretty hard to help you.
Hm... not to hate or anything, but I usually do not support auto installers, because, as many people say, "If you can't look up how to install a mod, you shouldn't be using it". Just an opinion.
Fair enough comment, but like any automation tool, it's there for the people that want to use it. Those that have trouble with the mod installation process shouldn't be penalized so this provides an alternative to not playing IC2 at all.

Is ignoring posts with bad punctuation really that hard? If his coding, or his friend's coding, really is as bad as his literacy skills, then this post would just fade away.
But no, we've all got to turn it into a massive shitstorm. Over grammar? Really? Come on guys, we're better than this.
True. Good luck with your mod addon reviewhunter. But please, no more long posts, it hurts my head
C-O-D-I-N-G.
You should look into making it look for updates for the program.
The latest version does (under the updates section in the installer)
I had a similar problem with vanilla iron armor. One hit from a zombie reduced brand new armor to about 10%. I was wearing a batpack.

I'm more than happy to PM you the code for the folder manipulation for MC, it was a bit of screwing around to get it right! The update checking is mostly XML manipulation but I'll send that too.
Not at the machine with the code so I'll send it to you in about 4-5 hours...
