    Nope the old once has only a limit of 4-5 eu. If it was a extrem storm the Generator did break but that was it... (He never did go higher then the cable was capable of)

    Well then make recipeHolder that contains Recipes with the Items you want to override.
    And then you can make in the check, if it is working with the new Objects you want to have and if not then you try with the old ones...
    At least try avoid looping through the Intire list... (there are mods out that do not stop when there is a matching recipe found)

    Great idea Aroma... Really good idea.
    But your solution is not the best... You simply Iterting +2x thorugh the RecipeList only to replace Recipes... That will cause lag. That system will work maybe with less mods but everything else... Do not think so...
    Since it is a IC2 Addon why don't you simply override the RecipeData inside every Recipe (for 1 time) and then have no longer problems?
    Also OreDictionary can help with addons...

    I would say as long the generaly care need for the machines are there (based on that what you gain) then +x3 is not op. If you just plug and play (which is mechanism) then it is op...


    I did not play with Rotary craft so much but i nodest everything has his cost (even x3 oreprocessing) and same counts for Factorization. You can get 3x ore processing but it takes about 20-30 times longer then simple x2-x2,25

    The Plates are there to prevent Crafting Recipes from colliding with other Mods, and the Item Casings are there because Plates are too expensive in some Recipes.


    Well since IC2 has its own recipes since mc 1.4 i think it started (the old 1.4) the other mods should prevent coliding with it. Because the plating bothers also Classic has no problems with RecipeMissmatches (at least from that what i heard/saw) And that uses still the old Recipes.

    Well if we use Chocoheads term. Then 8,1k is UltraExtreme Voltage and then the Insane comes... IC2 Should Really make a naming system in the API (so that the EU Reader knows whats flowing.)

    Well factorization has also 2,5-3,0 OreProcessing and i think that is good made too. Because it requires a lot of time to get the last step...

    IDSU From Gregtech: EnderEnergyStorage (EnderChest for Energy).
    IDSU From AdvGenerators: A huge EnergyStorage which stores more then the IDSU from Gregtech and has a output of 32K EU (which is tier 6-7 not sure because math with that is like this (8 * (4^tier))

    part of the problem is integration.. if you guys just let the machine use redstone flux it would not be the biggest issues.. but you don't and it is..


    Well i guess you do not know how powerSystems in code work... FIrst Redstone Flux is code wise so limited that some addons would be not working really/they would have to make so bad solution that these would be called laggy and no longer used...


    Other Thing Redstone Flux has not its own EnergyNet... It is only an API which provides an easy way to store and Send Power between machines. Cables are not included. Thats why you see so many mods making their own powerPipes because they have no other choice!
    Also, The Redstone Flux Transport system (based on Thermal Dynamics) is not the best solution to send power, because when you overdrive everything the system will start to cause lag thanks to all Multiblock parts it is letting tick. So if you have 500-1000 ducts that are 1000 things that will tick. (Even if they do nothing they check if the do something)
    Compared To IC2 (Exp) is that almost the same system but the difference here is that the processes will be splitted into small ones and calculated in threads, which will not effect the world directly because it happens next to the WorldTick and not in the World Tick (the longer the world needs to tick the bigger the lag is) and that keep the lag smal. Even if you did place to many cables...


    the machines for mekanism for processing are awesome.. 5x ore! it is complex to setup but not too bad..


    Well i saw at Vaygrim's lets plays how these machines work. Yeah you gain 5x OreProcessing but what do you do with all these Resources? IC2 Exp has already a stable 2,2 times resource gain. And also you gain other resources from this process...
    If you want to have 5x Processing use Mecanims and if you want it hard then use Factorization which is also an awesome way todo it and this one i would not call OP (Like Mekanism)


    IC2 tries to be alot .. weapons armor ore processing .. it might be doing too much and people don't like that?


    Question. Do you know why the Mod is called "Industrial-Craft"? It is called like that because it adds the Industrialization to the game. So you can industrialize everything that you want. Look into the history books and read that. Do you really think that they have something like that you want in that time? Mekanism is fun mod to play with. I am not against that but it explode the things by way to much... So if you want to raise the other one side which you think is to low. Simply decrese the side which is to high... That is by the way easier then the way you request...
