I've been thinking about this after I posted it, and I think an ae2 addon would be better. All the functionality and compatibility and the new items/recipes of ae2 with the simple recipes of ae1 would be ideal. I want the cool terminals with the directional placement, on wires, but the new recipes are expensiver, and more tedious.

Ae2 is frustratingly complex for me, and I want to be able to use this for a skyblock modpack along with the regular set of mods I use. If it exists, let me know.

Thank you, Spieger.

You would keep the ores in the generation.
-
No, it would be kind of like an overworld nether. You NEVER see the surface. Unless you have some kind of other overworld-like dimension added by a mod.
-
No. Just the top layer, so it's kind of like the nether.
-
It can be an ic2 addon, or a separate mod. I want a mod that completely deletes the top grass-and-tree layer of the world, and replaces it with a (possibly kind of thick) bedrock layer, so you're forced to survive completely underground. I have Ex Nihilo installed, so I can get resources like some plants and trees and sugarcane. If this already exists, please let me know where I can find it.

Oh, and Rival Rebels.

Project red.
Archimedes' airships (you can fly your stuff around.) -
Is it even good for anything else?
-
ok. So what is it used for, besides construction foam?
-
Then do you know anyone that's good at updating addons?
-
Mostly, yeah. But, this thread is still around, and this guy's account is still here, so I'm hoping he'll see it.
-
So. When will you make the addon for 1.7.10? Some of us play on versions that are still "alive." 1.6.4 and older are already out of date.
-
Bit will this work with all the other ores, though?
-
Metallurgy ores like copper, tin, and silver, are all ore dictionary-ized. The others are not.
-
Is an obscurator in regular ic2? Or gregtech?
-
So it IS like ic? If I added it, what would be a benefit? Like, would I get any cool tools from it?
-
All metallurgy copper and also every other type of copper, including thermal foundation, is compatible. With the added generation, you'll pretty much find 300 copper on your first mining trip. It's nice. I think ic2's copper and tin and others are pretty ugly, so it's nice for me.

I know the nether ores is what make it compatible. But, what is Mekanism? I've heard of it, but never used it. Is it like IC, where it has complicated recipes with cool results?
