It's most efficient i ever seen. You need to mine only 32% or vein volume to see every single block of ore.

Than you can add toggle latch (from Project Red) and switch output of item pipe between two receivers.

Its much better, to store and distribute power in eU form, instead of Steam. 10 (or 15) LV Steam Tubines could be placed near Bronze (or Steel) boiler in same volume (3x3x5). 128V cables could be made from Copper or Annealed copper. Transformers LV <-> MV does not need aluminum, so they are very cheap.

Is there a graceful way to split the empty cell output between these two machines?
Chest buffer, set to output by one item. Item pipe with two shutter modules (one for each receiver) and activity detector cover on both receiver. If machine "Has Work" - then close Shutter module near it. And another cell will go to other direction. Or Item Detector Covers and "Is Not Empty" condition.

It looks like one needs to use a pickaxe (or a tool that counts as one, such as a drill) to recover the mining pipes
Mining Laser in "Long-Range" mode are much better. It can "mine" about 2 stacks of mining pipes for only 3 or 4 shots.

... and if you dig them via Adv Miner II then you receive about 7000 - 8000 ingots of metal.
and if you also work on crops breeding then that quantity could be additional multiplied by 4

10 times difference between min and max are a little difficult to calculate safe amount of "dirty" machines in each chunk -
Neighbour chunks that have less than 80 pollution get 10% pollution moved over. Transfer minium 50000.
After some testes, it seems like 5 000 not 50 000. What is real transfer minimum?

Seems i've got it. Pollution transfer between chunks starts working after pollution level in current chunk > 50 000, right? -

U need to turn (with wrench) output side of machine to needed side. By default all outputs to back side.
