Additionally, it MUST contain screenshots showing up the progress of the working piece.

I don't know how, but I managed to cause this crash when placing wire by hand as well.

i tried that and it still didnt work. same things where missing. was there a specific order that i need to instal everything? or like am i supposed to put the ic2 stuff in the minecraft_server.jar or the client files are the problem?
You put the server stuff in the server.
You put the client stuff in the client. -
Frames are just a dirty hack which violates the normal behavior of tile entites. There's nothing we can do about it without TE relocation support from Minecraft.
Or from Forge? -
Alblaka will choose the first one, who Posts a proper Design, so hurry up.
Mine can already break blocks in front of it, craft solar panels, redstone torches, cobblestone, glass fibre cable, tin cable and MV transformers, place them behind it in the correct pattern. All that's left is putting everything together, waiting for it to fill up its internal buffers so Alblaka doesn't have to wait for ages before it does anything, and test it.Until the enet works on frames and cables can be deployed, I'll have everything needed for cables set up except for putting them in the assembler, all the wiring for the machines done but they'll be running on lapotrons, and a chest of UUM instead of the mass fabricator (with a wire leading up to it)

I tried to use an Assembler to place a tin cable, and this happened.

I believe imbis made his mod work better with RP/BC in a recent release, so try updating or just hooking a pipe up to the table. I also noticed that Eloraam put some of the new block IDs square in the middle of BC's range. Open up redpower/redpower.cfg and edit the offending block ids to new numbers.
I made it work better with regulators, I didn't change the output.
To remove the crafted items, use a filter, transposer, or retriever like you would with a chest, but make sure it's connected to the top of the ACT - no other face will work. -
-
Just for this contest, I reworked the crafting table a bit so it works with regulators.
-
Whenever I try and move BC pipes they break.
TubeStuff -
tip for the solar plant make sure it has a reverse
Why would it need that? -
Just a hint for you all:
Because the E-net (cabling) doesnt work on Frames (technical term for that special issue is: "optimized away"), you have to use Batteries (or Energycrystals, or Lapotrons but with Transformerupgrades) on your IC²-Machines to let them work.
Too bad that doesn't work with mass fabs. (Or terraformers; flatificating the land to clear terrain would be so easy but so slow).
For now I'm going to have a chest full of UUM instead of a mass fab, for testing. -
The solar-spamatron can't just fly instead of clearing terrain, right?
Edit: Also, does it need to remove any blocks covering the solars it places, or does it just need to clear enough space to move forward? -
You didn't install Forge properly. It goes in the jar.
-
To make it work, you should downgrade to 1.2.4. BUT if you can't do that, you may be able to make it work by installing 1.2.4 Forge, 1.2.4 MLMP and 1.2.4 IC2, as 1.2.5 and 1.2.4 are similar enough internally.
What will definitely not work is using 1.2.5 Forge with 1.2.4 IC2, since Forge changed a lot of things in 1.2.5 to make them no longer require MLMP. -
When I read this I thought it was going to be like adding coal dust to near depleted uranium cells/recharged isotope cells, but using power instead of coal dust, and thought "Sure, why not?"
Then I read it more carefully.
NO.
-
Why don't you just pipe the lava directly into the generators?
-
Isn't Spoutcraft completely incompatible with normal Minecraft, ModLoader, ModLoaderMP, Forge and all other mods?
-
AFAIK the transformer upgrades are capped at HV. Sending EV into a machine with 3 transformer upgrades will still blow it up.
