hmm, looks like an good design exept for one thing.
do you know that the ice feeder wil fill every empty inventory slot inside your reactor?
i dont know if you calculated that part in?

mijnboogje you told the planner to use 1 bucket every 5 seconds thats why it has a big effect on the cooldown. But if you do this:

Now it will use 1 bucket instead of 324. It will reduce the cooldown by 3 sec.agreed, wel found. i didnt notice the suc option was turned on that way. only altered the small bucket in the design.

Back on topic, I really like this design because I can replace a coolant cell, putting it in that empty slot and putting a fresh one where it used to be, thus lowering the heat gain rate.not an bad design! also. try to replace that empty slot you mentioned with an water bucket, that drasticly reduces the cooldown period.

no problem, the trick in making ice is this.
you use snow gollems and rp2 block breakers to harvest it. its like an infinite suply of snow, then use an singularity compressor to make it into ice (advanced machines addon)
that compressor is more powerfull then the normal one. (WAY faster ) -
One of the first reactors I made. This reactor doesn't require any chambers, and only 8 surrounding blocks of water. For these reasons, it's small and cheap. It does, however, require ice, which is hard to come by (unless you also have the equivalent exchange mod).

í suggest you download the thermomiter mod to for the breeders, lets you ceep an eye at your temperature if you use breeders.

Than just up the Snow to ice
To make it go better I'll setup a line of snow golems to get alot of snow fast to get a surplus amount of snow.I need to figure out breeders next to get a good setup
Any tutorials on breeders?you wil need to ask rick about breeders, i dont know much about them. also you can look at the sticky topic (list of good reactor designs) that should get you going

however. do you have the tools to make the ice stacks? that wil reduce your effective eu/t etc etc etc... yata yata yata....

I would simply let it run for 430 seconds in heat configuration. I think thats quicker and easier than putting 243 lava buckets in it. Just make sure you you wont let it run for 472 seconds or parts start to melt
i am thinking about using an redstone wiring to do just that, maybe i can rig it up just right so it alters its config to the correct config

so basicly i need to add 1 bucket every 11 seconds to the reactor. that is what it is showing. i gues an filter - timer setup is in order there.

my needs: :high amount of cells charged ea cycle,
:9000 heat balance.
:no babysitting, (they stay at 9000 heat)
:any amount of chambers.i need this to ceep my ice CASUC reactor running, i am playing on legit mode. so please, not to expensive designs

I've been trying to build a CASUC reactor but don't know where to start. For mods I have the Technic Pack (IC^2, BC, RP2, etc...). Any help would be appreciated, especially with how to create ice and how to get water from a water generator into buckets.

ever thought of going CASUC for the reactors? it is the max posible efficiency for an reactor. so maximizes your profit.

indeed, stil attempting to figure that out. using an ice CASUC while force feeding ice works WAY better
