It's cheap and efficient double plutonium reactor, that can be automatically refueled very easily and prefers company of at least 9 exactly the same reactors. (Yes I see thread name and no I did not go through all posts and yes I hope it is not noobish design) -

Actually I use 2 overclockers in every machine since earlygame, then jump to 4 as soon as possible (with the first MFE). I find it more comfortable, because geo-gens are powerful enough to feed them. Right after that I go straight for mining laser and reactor. I always have first reactor before first house. Yes, I have all my machines, bed and chests laying on a grassy hill.

That's the way it should be.Currently is it way harder to tinker with reactors, because system is new and there is no planner. (I refuse to wait hours while testing designs) Once planner is released, new designs will start appearing very fast and people who don't care about making them will just have to choose one they like most. For most players, nuclear power redesign means only few more recipes to learn.

CASUC require a great deal of skill to make working, are not OP in anyway (compared to wind gens, for example), and was actually much more realistic than what we have now.
Axing this possibility is a big mistake.

With a 'Quad Uranium Cell', this would even increase to a maximum of 7 pulses.
I don't get that one yet.
Single cell pulses once 5EU/t - 2 touching pulse twice per cell - 20EU/t
Dual cell pulses twice per cell 20EU/t - 2 touching pulse 1.5 times per cell-combo - 60EU/t
Quad cell pulses 3 times per cell 60EU/t - 2 touching pulse 1.33 times per cell-combo - 160EU/tArent we actually losing efficiency ?

It was strange. There was cable connecting reactor and mfsu, but no energy flow could be measured. Energy stored in MFSU was increasing though. I hve to investigate more later.
What I did was:
Placed reactor, added glass fiber to the side and lever on top.
Added MFSU on the other end of the cable.
Then removed cable and lever and added 6 chambers.
No energy was flovwing when i added redstone signal.
Added glass fiber connecting top of top chamber and top of mfsu.
Provided redstone signal and thats when it happened. -
Quad uranium cell surrounded by 4 thick neutron reflectors gives 280 EU/t. Didn't find a way to cool it yet.
Does it deplete faster or only output is increased ?Tutorial is in the writing. For the time being, happy nuking
Thanks for releasing anyway. Strange bug with cabling+reactor occurred for me though, I will try to find out how to duplicate it. -

Hm... I got same numbers with 5 chambers and enegry isn't even transferred when i connect cable to a chamber, so 6 chamber one gives 0.
Nope. It was bug with cables (MFSU getting energy and cables showing 0EU/t). It is 60EU/t with quad cell and 6 chambers. -

It should also be sticky and highly flamable. Ability to spontanoiusly combust would be fine too. That would be one awesome construction foam.

It's not "being OP" or not. The problem with the quarry, is that it make you stop mining by yourself. The same would happen with the Upgraded Miner.
I disagree, current miner is enough to stop mining completely (if more of them are used).
