Uhhm, you know, that you dont have to edit the List to get the Redpower-Ores, because of the Oredictionary?
Nikolite, tugnsten, the gems and i don't remember what else isn't in the ore dictionary, ergo you must add it to the config list.

but are the enchantments as powerful? is an old level 50 enchanted sword better than a new level 30 sword?
Enchantments are the same apparently, they just lowered the amount of levels needed to get the best ones.

how about a single use battery recipe that uses uranium? it makes single use batteries less useless and appeases the users that refuse to build a reactor and as a result insist an alternative use for uranium be added.
It should be like a regular battery but once it hits 0 it dissapears (Because of the amount of energy it has), should have an efficiency of 0.3-0.6 so people are more encouraged to use the nuclear reactor instead.

Never said anything about being op, im saying that the price is well justified considering everything the suit does.
Also: Balance through "Expensive" recipes i will always consider it as mock of the act, since everything in minecraft its relatively easy to adquire and relatively unlimited for the amount of Land/Chunks the game can produce. I "Hardly" consider the recipe for the Quantum armor to be "Just Right", because for getting it you need to be clever in how you obtain your energy for UU-Matter, so they are several "Layers" of stuff/task that you must adquire/perform before getting the suit, making it well worth it.

Yes. But Redpower CASUC too.
The difference between CASUC and simply Water piping its pretty herpy derpy if you don't notice it.
With Casuc you need a whole factory to produce enough Ice/Water Buckets to keep your reactor happy.
With Water piping its "Hurr Durr Pipe Here, Water There gogogogoggog dahhhhh", or something along those lines.

So becoming practically inmortal, immune to most natural hazards, Super jumps, Super Speed, Unlimited underwater breathing and Food Bar replenishment is not enough to off-set the expensiveness of the quantum suit? i loled.

Eloraam herself must add the crop this time. Because unlike silver which is in the Ore dictionary, her crop isn't.
And for those who don't know the ore dictionary its part of the public domain because its part of forge which is open source, but Redpower isn't public domain nor open source. In short you can't do anything to or with redpower code without the express permission from eloraam (Or unless she makes it herself).

Modloader doesn't mess up with vainilla stuff, ergo why the stone furnace may act oddly. Thats responsability of mojang to fix mostly.

Changed in one of the lastest snapshots, but we won't be seeing anything made with this because most likely than not we won't see a good chunk of mods updated to 1.3. (Since they won't be releasing the mod api yet, maybe some shenanigans done in those snapshot that makes modding minecraft somewhat more difficult with the current tools.)

The joke of IC2 its the energy system, by the time it was made, it was the only mod with a energy system.
Redpower on the other hand started as an expansion to the redpower system, Redpower cables that could be placed on walls and roof, logic circuitery and recently expanded to stuff like soarting systems, item transport systems, frames, computer, etc.
Comparing IC2 with Redpower on the only premise of "All the stuff in that mod needs to consume energy" its unfair.

What if it used reactor heat to cook items?
Why would you do that if the Reactor Already produces energy so you can make your furnace work!

Umm... I kinda like it actually. Seriously. It's an interesting concept, having a nuclear furnace. For those of us who don't use more than one reactor, and have stockpiles, it would be kinda neat to put to use the extra uranium. Now, 50 items sounds like an off-the-old-top-of-the-head idea, but that fact can be tweaked. Say what you want, but I like it.
I don't. Electric/Inducion Furnace + Simple Nuclear gen design (0 Risk of explotion 1 or 2 Efficiency) = Lots of energy for Lots of smelting.
Just because you are lazy to do the above doesn't mean the devs should make it easier for you.
