Because you don't use it. I use it in vast quantity in oder to craft RE-battery for Solar Pannel (and to turn it into Iron on PvP servs when it's not forbidden/fixed ^^) and I get too much tin, but not up to use it as fuel.
Because 16tin to craft 64 cells to use it with a super high efficient Superfuel that will last you for a good fucking while is bad >.>

Actually, apples are NOT a food source, they are much too weak (in terms of hunger re-generation) and rare for that. What they are FOR is to make golden apples which are not *food*, they are magical healing boosts. In light of that, IMHO this is an excellent crop idea.

Biofuel its a pretty good energy source, but people simply don't know how to use it or place too much importance on tin that would otherwise be wasted (Honestly after a point in the game, the only thing you are doing is stockpiling the tin >.>)

Also, the sticky resin should be mixed with Glowdust to be able to glow in the first place (Without causing massive fires and shit), Range should totally not be infinite like i said before, And decay of these F.L.A.R.E. could probably motivate people to put a decent light source if they are planning to stay more time around those caverns.

I had this idea months ago but never bothered placing it here lol.
I used over 30 to 40 mods (Right now i don't think i have more than 15 or 20, mostly because i don't need the garbage littering my game with useless stuff) and i never needed a modpack to make them work right whatsoever, its a matter of reading a little and understanding how shit works. Of course expecting someone to read simple instructions on the internet its moronic behaviour. NEI and ID Resolver are nice tools, but they are not absolutely needed if people do like me, remap every block id from every mod.
If people actually read and understand stupid level instructions, modpacks would not be needed whatsoever.

Green gens barely produce more than 5 eu/t and the only one the capability to do so its the windmill. There is no need to make tin cable better.

Watermill doesn't produce obscene amounts of energy (For a green gen), and making "Artificial" spaces to place a single watermill to full effectivity its equally dificult as the windmill (Maybe a little less). Thats with unmaned mode.
As long as manned mode doesn't get full blown out compatibility with fluid pipes then there is no problem there.
