nah, servers already have a lot of workload and imagine you add a VoIP service to the workload.

you cant turn one metal into another without nucklear fusion (or magic) hypotetical variable chance for iridium ore to contain any platinum (wtf its UUM generated and supposed to be 100% pure) is not option for additional tier in techbased mod IMHO.
ability to stack 9999 iridium for more advanced metal is option only for korean MMORPG (and possibly EE) and not really fun and techbased.

Iridium can be considered one of the "Impurities" of raw Platinum, so with a proper process of heating and some other stuff you can actually clean that impurity leaving you with platinum in one side, and iridium in the other (Although the amount of iridium gotten with these processes its minuscule)
I would love if ic2 had a research system like thaumcraft, but less randomly.
Nuclear reactor its the end game actually for the fact that its the last generator one is able to be made. Also the fact that you can produce EV+ with it, its the only generator that can do it.

Just like IC has a lot to add to minecraft so does tekkit. Its not one or the other, its both.
Except that tekkit/technic just grab a bunch of mods from other developers and mash them together. Try making your own big mod like ic2 once and see if you dont get mad from someone stealing your work without so much saying you will do it.

there is no way to transmute one metal into another by only heat or pressure or anything, you need fusion for this.
fusion furnace (that will copy RP alloy furnace) to smelt something into something different is ok, smelt platinum into iridium is not ok.

I was going to make a post but decided to look through existing threads.. Looks like the creators don't want to do anything more with the beer, but I would like to see the ability to put it in an extractor or canner and receive something like an ethanol cell or extract 1 beer into 4 (a completely arbitrary number as an example) biodiesel.
The beer is kinda fun, but in the overall scheme it seems disjointed from IC. Using the brewing system as a way of gaining a new fuel would be something to do with failed brews and would entice some that would otherwise have no interest in brewing or even farming in general.
Al has said that farming and brewing are nothing more than a side fun to the mod, nobody its forced to do it if they dont want to.
Everything you said Screams OP, besides Al have already said no to multifuntion Armor pieces, so no quantum chest with lappack/energy shield/energy storage in one.
I really dont see a need for a new tier of energy, although i would say that spacing the tiers making them more difficult to upgrade/obtain would be interesting.
If you replace the player.png with you own, i think every default skin user will look like the skin you replaced the default with. I think.
