    Actually, I'm not totally sure.

Rawcode on the support forums said:

to someone wanting to disable to Mass Fabricator. I don't know if it can be edited by Notepad. Probably not. There should be a way.

It cannot. First IC2 is ofuscated (Probably encripted what do i know) so you only get jibber jabberish instead of the actual code, and second notepad suck for that kind of task. You need to either use notepad++ (Wordpad maybe could work i dunno) or need a java IDE for it.

Actually I am not the stupid one  With the new update the hover mode button is no longer H. The issue was that someone lacks the responsibility to update the wiki :cursing: and let the users know that the hover mode button is now M. Also I did look under controls before posting. Hover mode toggle doesn't show up.

The wiki its a community effort, its not a completely official information/documentation source from the IC2 Devs.

And if you take the time to read the change logs, you would have come to realized that all the mode change keys for IC2 (Hover Mode,Laser mode, etc) are now under the same key with a different name. I think it even says what the key is.

Its not something that can simply be "Balanced" like regular generators, because this one works directly with items Ergo with damage values.

You cant, i repeat, you cant Add a single EU to a item because the damage value its set to represent more than 1 eu, it may be 5 or it may be 10 or it may be 9.

So thats another valid reason why you cant/isnt necessary to add a config file for the solar helmet.

Transformers upgrade increase the ability to receive energy up to HV iirc.

After that just split the energy your generator its making into 4 mfsu and feed that to machine in question. In theory that should give it enough constant energy to work.

Alternatively you can install a bunch of energy storage upgrades in the machine and use a HV transformer to have it not blow on you.

Well, I doubt that they are good early generators. Since they require a lot of user-input and they have a hard to defeat competitor, the normal generator. A normal generator is in every point superior to the water-mill.

The Generator needs feeding every 21 Mins, the Water-Gen every 2 Mins.
The Generator produces 10 EU/t the two watermills you get only 4 EU/t.

Since it is so easy to feed the Generator Charcoal which is freely avaible the watermill is totally inferior to the generator.

Even if charcoal its a material that is easily made, its still something that need a process to get it, From planting/looking for trees, to chopping them, to smelt the log in a furnace.

A manned water mill only needs a bucket of water and 3 water source blocks for unlimited refilling without too much effort.

So my point still stands, a watermill its one of the good early game energy sources in IC2. Generator is too, but its more for mid game than for early.

Quatum Chest: Instead of 4 iridium plates, replace those plates with Nano Chest and place one iridium place in the empty space above the lapotron
Quantum leggins: Instead of 2 iridium plates, replace those plates with nano leggings and place the iridium plate bellow the lapotron (only 1 plate)
Quantum boots: Replace iridium plates with Nano boots and place iridium plate above lapotron
Quantum helmet: Move the whole recipe down, replace the iridium plate with nano helmets and place the iridium plate above the lapotron.

I agree with you that changing something of this magnitude in the middle isn't the best of ideas. This could be something for IC3 perhaps.
It feels that the second you finish building that Nuclear Reactor there is nothing more to do, Nuclear Reactors run so long on their fuel and you only need to be wasting energy on the Mass Fabricator until you get enough iridium. After that the game is ended, there is nothing more to do. The part I like is laying the cables, double checking the High/Medium/Low EU before I turn on my machines, everything infrastructure related to this mod is the part I enjoy the most. And all of that ends with the Nuclear Plant and the MFS :(

This is a problem for most mods, once you reach a certain point you are either left with nothing else to do, or start making something else entirely.

Also minecraft really its a game that unless you get creative or something, you are left with nothing else to do quite easily, even with mods.

If you take away the energy storage, then you take almost 70% of what industrial craft is.

Electrical tools, Quamtum/Nano Armor not to mention that machines like terraformers/Teleporters/Mass Fabricators needs a lot of energy.

Sorry but your idea its not exactly good enough since you kill most features that are within Industrial Craft with it.

Once again its nice talking about real life physics in minecraft, but in theory its a terrible game concept specially so late into this mod. (Its not so terrible, but right now it serves nothing changing it when IC its already so established like it is now)

That could be argued. Bluetricity is fairly realistic.

But there is a reason real life electricity isn't in Minecraft- Because there's a dirt block floating in the air.

Bluetricity its a little similar to IC but in a smaller scale, since you can produce energy and store it in the bat box. Of course unlike the MFSU, batbox are fairly limited in storage, but its mostly enough to keep some machine working for a good while.

I say Buildcraft its similar because you can produce a fuckton of energy, but if that energy doesnt have anywhere to go, it will simply waste itself. Same case apply if you produce too much energy for what little energy the machine you have its working for.

The original idea said "Sucking the liquid", no where in it said something about expulsing the liquid.

Besides if you suck the liquid it has to go somewhere and the most logical choice would be Empty Cells, but if you know once you pack a liquid in a cell you cant unpack it anymore.

Also if you want to make that lava lake, you could use buildcraft pumps to suck the lava, make a piping to where you want and placing tanks nearby, then you just use the bucket to place the lava in place.
