There is, no issue. Its intended, in a weird form.

Hes basically telling you that there wasnt a reason to make a new thread, you could simply post it in that thread.

Qsuit ? Pretty expensive too IMO.
Well... Q suit expensiveness comes from a diferent source, but i guess its fair compararison.
So unless you want to make these batteries from Iridium...
-
Well that highly depends on items used to craft one. (we got a lot of really expensive stuff to craft from)
So far, nothing can beat how expensive the nuclear reactor is.

Each uranium cell provides 2M EU with 1.0 efficiency - http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…=1p10101001501521s1r11r10
It actually is 0.5 effDerp, dunno why i added that extra 0. Still dont like that 0.5 efficiency, considering the creation via crafting table would be a lot more simpler and cheaper than creating the nuclear reactor block + the components to make sure it doesnt go boom consuming the cell (In case you dont place at least 9 water blocks nearby the reactor).

Recipes are never a problem, theres a lot of recipe books mods out there.
The funtion of every item and some ramdom tibits that are too obscure to notice are the reason why guides/wikis are used for. For example i didnt know that the unit of power in buildcraft is Minecraft Joule (MJ), and that Redstone engines output 1Mj per revolution, and i didnt know this because their wiki isnt "Properly" updated with these stuff, maybe because of the existence of the BC guide.

Well your proposed Battery does 4m EU total before it gets depleted. Each uranium cell provides 20m EU with 1.0 efficiency. (At least if my math is right, each second has 20 ticks x 20000 secs (5.5hrs) x 10 EU/T = 4m.
So 4 uranium cells would be 80m eu while the battery discharges only 4m, im in for low efficiency, but this may be a little too much.

So far theres is no substitute (That i know of), and the original energy-o-mat was removed because it needed a rework due to the new Energy Network.

A "Shear" mode for the chainsaw would be hilarious instead of adding a new item.

(/edit: This was written before I saw HeadHunters' post above, I'm tired but just wanted to say it was written and posted without taking his into account, before I go on to bed.)
Right, And as I've been trying to point out... Eloraam has proven herself to be the type of person that has an extremely one-sided view of cooperation. She has implemented her own version of central concepts of other mods, but is completely unwilling to allow someone else to even look at her code to see how it works.
Silence will never change anything. Change needs a voice, even if it starts with only one.
Im willing to say that because Redpower2 is stil in PRE-RELEASE state aka UNFINISHED, shes being more harsh on letting people look at her code, be happy we are in a "Open Beta" sort of states, because if you didnt know eloraam also does the bug catching herself.
MAYBE, just MAYBE when Redpower2 is finally released and out of the beta tag, she will be a little more lenient about addons and sub-mods of her own work, specially the release of a API to make use of her features without invading her source code, which if you were a developer/programmer, you would know that the source code its the most sacred thing one have.
Quite honestly i still dont know why we are still discussing about this, nothing you say will change anything, in fact it may do quite the contrary and have negative effects.

Why not simply, ignore the H.Coal Cell? Its not like its doing any harm to you since the only use for it, its for fuel for generators (Which you dont need) and the jetpack.
If you are doing it for the jetpack, go with the Biofuel Cell way and its almost the same but more abundant with a penalty on the amount of fuel power.
-
Charcoal also have the tendency to being able to be produced in mass. So you could keep burning that for energy if you want to.
-
If only coal wasnt the... 7°-10° most abundant material in minecraft >.>
-
Its intended behaviour, as a way to know what "Set" its currently inside the toolbox.

Lets say 10EU/t for 20000sec (5.5 hours). Or even 5 EU/t for 11 hours sounds good, if uranium in battery block can be replaced. Counting with 4 cells and 0.5 eff.
Those would work in 0.2efficiency... i like it.
Dont complain, if you want the full power of the uranium get yerself a nuclear reactor.
...Wait are we talking about 1 uranium > 1 battery or more batteries per uranium? If the second case i can only agree if its 2 batteries per uranium.

Are you using a old version of forge? I remember it has something to do with forge, which i think got fixed with one of the lastest forge updates.

Doesn't long range mode deal 10 hearts of damage, thus one-hitting most mobs?
Only in close range, the farther the shots move, the less damage it deals.
-
Stop giving yourself Crystals with TMI/NEI/Creative mode.
In a less possible scenario updating from 1.4x to 1.6x changed the way energy is stored in the crystals so they start at 0.

Weapons are not planned "Yet" (Or more like they dont have much place in here yet).
Wait until the industrial conflictum expansion pack.

Yeah, EE doesn't value dirt much.
And With the recent version Cobblestone isnt valued much either. SmoothStone, Dirt, Sand,Gravel and Clobstone is values in 1 EMC.
