I do not program for MC, but see many problems considering placing/destroying/moving_by_piston_or_frame when in use.
Big blocks like in Railcraft would not help probably.
Expandable EU storage is always wanted of course. I think it should not show current charge stored, only percentage value. But if search for connected blocks will be on each charge/discharge it can be laggy, else buggy. Also for balance purposes some EU loss needed.

I mean coding efficiency, not usage. Having summarized output from distributed storage is too buggy and laggy imho.

Hello! I'm here just to post this text. It's the list of items I'd like to see in IC2 to complete my spaceship. I hope you'd like at least one of my ideas, even if they were posted before.

Yes, we need it different! Let us color a wrench to make it better. Some wrench should be used to turn some machine to north, some - to open nuclear reactor, some - to dig dirt in hope to find lost long ago

As most of us know quantum effect it is never known, which side this sword would damage. Also at which time it would decide to be in which inventory or hands. Quantum behavior is so unpredictable.

[Mouse click] with [Jump] pressed - descend on block pointed, [Jump] without mouse click - jump on top. Player should be able to jump up in the middle to fly on jetpack or dive with Q-suit.
4. Not more or less particles - it should be laggy. Just size of periodic steam sprites. Or opaqueness.

thought about it like that but then there would be all this stuff about which boat goes with which retriever? and is that possible code wise? if the devs want it that way its not like i can stop them but i think the way in the OP is the simplest way to pull it off
No doubt it possible. Inyour way you need two slots when not use it. Let devs decide.

Do not need high speed on lava, but when on water (or other if would be) let speed be increased. At least water is easier to swim. Or should it sink? No.

Change place/retrieve mech:
Placing Vehicle leave Retriever in inventory. Using Retriever on Vehicle pick it up to inventory slot, used by Retriever.
This way you will always have slot available and Vehicle can be unbreakable.To get out of Vehicle use Jump to jump on top of it. Vehicle still stay and keep your weight, waiting for you to jump to beach and retrieve it.
Should it spend energy to high speed? No Iridium in recipe?

But let Egg be itself, for bees for example.
