there is no way to spent resources in IC2 since all stuff cannot be broken, there is no applications for UUM expect quantum, crafting quantum is completely endgame.

Long long time ago in far away galaxy someone allowed quanum helmet to provide creative mode for anyone who wear it.
After this any type of farming food (ever with crops) gone useless, also canning machine gone obsolete (mostly) (in SMP completely).As some of reading this post know about foodsystem change (food now stackable) ability to convert any type of food into melon slices with canning machine at cost of energy and tin cans not a gameplay option anymore.
Stack of meat will provide 8 times more food then stack of tin cans, instant healing of 2 hps cant offset this.Suggestion is to use potion effects and change foodcans calculation:
canning machine consume food items, as soon as internal buffer greater or equal to 10 food units, food can is created.
every foodcan restore 10 food and 20 saturation instantly, provide regeneration similar to golden apple and restore additional 10 food units over 60 seconds.
Such changed will make canned food superior to anything else, since it allow to stack food futher.Quanum helmet shoud not restore food, and quanum-nano suit shoud not protect from hunger damage, this will disable creative mode on quantum and make it much more balanced on SSP.

like instant health 20 + weakness 20 + slow 20 + blindness 20 + mostly everything else negative
with refine process player able to decrease side effects

how to calculate time offset for this rates?
local server time is not option, attempt to alter tickrate result in hurge shitshtorm of errors. (last tested in 110 bukkit)

you need java knowladge to change anything hardcoded into mod, have fun with MCP and elciplse.
also nano sword able to crush nanosuit easy.

ps. i suggest to add simple and effective method to prevent such problems by adding forced exception possibly division by zero on version missmatch with addtional info displayed prior exception.
also you may override security settings and delete something from noob's hdd for greater effect.

you cant turn one metal into another without nucklear fusion (or magic) hypotetical variable chance for iridium ore to contain any platinum (wtf its UUM generated and supposed to be 100% pure) is not option for additional tier in techbased mod IMHO.
ability to stack 9999 iridium for more advanced metal is option only for korean MMORPG (and possibly EE) and not really fun and techbased.

tin alloys cant handle reactor, tin cant be used to craft casing for rods, and soo on.
everything involved in high temperature shoud use ceramics and volfram.plz no volfram ore, it can be crafted by redstone iron dust and possibly coal dust with redmagic transformation.

If something resist heat, it shoud use ceramics.Ceramics also can be used as alternative tupe of insulation (better then rubber but harder to craft)
Ceramic armor shoud protect from fire, lava, reactor.

alchemy suggetion to tech mod...
there is no way to transmute one metal into another by only heat or pressure or anything, you need fusion for this.
fusion furnace (that will copy RP alloy furnace) to smelt something into something different is ok, smelt platinum into iridium is not ok.

just implement damn lighting rod generator that will BURN every machine due 100000000 EU production and everyone will be happy. (at least before anyone will notice this, since chance for lighting to strike rod extremely slim this may take weaks or more)
