Good times, good times.
Mistic do you know when the mod will be out for multi
Flan has stated on his forum thread that his goal is to have a release by Christmas. It will need to be MP-compatible, and will include some content from his old Teams mod.
Was the code always like
or is there a new concept of buying weapons?
EDIT: Damnit Chrome! It always messes up forum formatting on me
EDIT2: There is a boolean canBuy in the method for buyGun, so I'm thinking there might possibly be some sort of currency system
EDIT3: Nevermind, it's been so long I forgot how the gun boxes worked
Isn't it so nostalgic?
Time constraints, time constraints, time constraints.
I claim Red Team.
ndel, can we get WRCBE?
Eyyy, yooo, ndel here. I bought a server for the purpose of restarting the traditional industrial war experience the other day, and it's all set for people to start playing. The ip is:
erryone is free to join, old and new. No whitelist, and some setup is still being handled, but tis functioning. You just need this modpack: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/383277….CLIENT_1.2.5_PC_BARE.zip and you should be set. Cya soon.
I am no longer AFK.
And before the flood of "ZOMG YOU DECOMPILED REDPOWER YOU ARE A BAD MAN!!!shift-one" comments comes in, there are no components of Redpower in here and no kind of interfaces to its code. Check the source if you don't believe me.
inb4 happens anyway
EDIT: Perhaps UUM recipes for the gems?
I miss this server. D:
I don't think this is the right subforum for this.
Mistic any news on flan's mod?
Old-ish news from May 17, on Flan's Mod's Facebook page:
"I have been unable to find someone to code multiplayer for my mod, but I am now halfway through term and so I should be able to do some work on it in a month or so. Sorry for the huge delay, but my degree is far more important than Minecraft."
Some notes of mine on that:
1.) Many people offered to code multiplayer for him. -.-
2.) Based on what Flan said there, he plans to resume work on SMP support very, very soon.
3.) VERY, VERY SOON.
This server is where I learned all I know about these mods and warfare. Some of you got on my nerves, but you were all like family to me. Mensrea, thank you so much for providing us all with this wonderful opportunity. I'll never forget all the ups and downs we experienced on here, or all the wonderful people I've had the honor of meeting. All good things must someday come to a close, and although the server is being brought down, the essence of DUBnet will live on within each of our hearts.
Farewell Mensrea, laserbeam_nik, my Blue teammates, and former Red opponents. The Industrial War has been a truly fantastic experience. I'm truly, truly honored to have had the pleasure of leading the Blue team for as long as I did. I regret my inactivity in the end, though. Alas, none can turn back the hands of time. I wish each and every one of you the very best that the future has to offer, and I shall hold fast to the hope that our paths may someday cross again.
I'm really going to miss you guys.

(Not gonna mention that many people offered to code it for him. >_>)
EDIT: "Not gonna say" changed to "Not gonna mention".
5.no planes/tanks (flan decided he would not port it to smp and is offering to "let" someone do that for him [don't everbody jump on that at once!]) not very much to wars without war machines.
If only it would be done.
Mens if you build a new city you should you the one for the E.D.E.N project by the yogscast.....heres a link to map.....
http://www.mediafire.com/?i1q7qn2bwwdi0ju ..... just go to -419x -1343z....the city is amazing
You fool, we do not need their cities. Anything Mensrea could put together would be better by definition.
I dislike the Yogscast. You folks are better off not asking why, as fruitless argument could very well ensue.
Just to be clear: Can we use a stationary factory? (For the SPAM-a-tron) If so, well, I'm pretty much done. If not... Let me rework my design
Nope. Al says that would be too easy. :p
