Fine, but this is industrial, it should have at least a little sense of reality. Not something "magical" as enchantments (IC² version would be nano-tech that i suggested)
alright then it runs like a Geothermal Generator off the heat of the baby dragon inside the egg? or maybe be able to use Ender Pearls in the ZPM battery that someone mentioned in a past thread to draw energy from a "Black Hole" type thing. and The End is the best place to get Ender Pearls.

well alblaka already mentioned something about making an industrial warfare pack, so i'm sure he'll have stuff like that but i'm sure that thread will some later. as for your other mentioned ideas, you can already basically do all that. with TNT traps and dispensers

if the Cropnalyzer added the values to the Seed Bag Name then that wouold be fine but as for "[i] won't need to identify tons of seeds anyways" i am currently cropp breeding 64 SETS of plants blindly seeing if i can get to a Tier 16 plant before the Cropnalyzer is fixed, i'm manually watching and personally analyzing these plants by Growth tiem and yield and writing them down on a huge sheet of graph paper i printed out at work :p if the Cropnalyzer could run on the Enet, i'd imagine this bug would be easier to fix or might not have happened at all.

no yet sadly, i've tried every single possibility and it simply will not accept anything for power. RichardG and alblaka are aware of the issue but has not said anything in regards as to whether they is fixing it or not right this instant. i hope they are.
Actually i would like to see The end dimension be altered [since it is entirely useless for IC²] and removing the enderdragon. {i don't like it and it is even more useless at SMP}
or better yet using the Dragon Egg as a fuel source, so you have to slay the dragon to get the egg for fuel, this could also be like an advanced type of solar panel. maybe runs off the cross dimensional properties of the egg to draw power from the crystals in The End and bring the engery to the Overworld.
I would like to see a cropanalyzer block that analyzes seeds whenever you right click it with an unknown seed, removing the need of a GUI and it would be much more practical.
yeah but then it would be spamming the hell out of your chat log, the GUI is fine in my opinion, but i'd like to be able to rename seedbags and not have to worry about carrying batteries and cyrstals everytime i want to work on my crops.

A Cropnalizerblock can not move so you have to place more then one of these Cropcomputers next to ALL your crossingpoints.

at the moment you can;t put any batteries or crystals in it, atleast alot of people, including me, are having this problem/bug. but you wouldn;t have to put it next to all your crops, you would just put it on the ground nearby and bring your seedbags to it to be analyzed, just like they are now. except you would have to bother with batteries of any kind, it'll just use your Enet system energy when scanning each seedbag.

here is what i do.
i put a snow man and myself trapped ontop of block completely surrended my obsidian pipes (from Buildcraft) being powered by redstone engines to vaccuum snowballs that don't touch the pipes, i then look at the ground with a Drill (not diamond to save EUs) or a bunch of stone shovels. i then use the shovel like a man man on the snow that the snowman instantly regenerates causing me to make thousands of snowballs in a very short ammount of time. i then have those obsidian pipes piped to 40compressors using fiber glass cables then pump into chests directly beside my reactors. i then have a "overflow" loping sytem of iceblocks that pump out about 8 iceblocks a second to the reactor and any iceblocks that don't get used simply come back to the ice-chest. this was the most cost efffective way i could find, also, as appealing as a 1,800+ reactor is you burn ALOT of ice that way, it is far more effective to make a 500EU/t reactor and use alot of coolant cells and heat dispensers to adsorb the majority of the heat, and use Ice merely as a stabalizer/backup. i find this the best use of the reactors, when i need more power i simply make more of this same setup. however my next idea has yet to been tested which is:
Idea #2, make 8-12 reactors and run them at around 500 EU/t, then make a redstone Clock systm that is take turns turning them on and off, basicaly a Vanilla MC Redstone clock using plain restone torches. this will cause the reactors to constantly fluctuate between Power and Cool-down mode. if i can set this up to make only 1 reactor run at a time and i have 12 reactors then i could set this up and have the powering in a cycle that would allow me to never need to introduce SUC or have a long cooldown period when they are all drained. furthermore, i could use this for a 800eu/t power source that would last alittle over 24 hours.
CPW is failing to update the Compact Solar Panels for MC 1.2.3 / IC1.81, could ya'll look into this or update them already?
they look great to me, sky-demon does a pretty good job on sprites

it would be nice to be able to place a Cropnalyzer and hook it up to the Enet system so that i don't have to constantly charge and carry around batteries when i go to harvest my 30 sets of crops.
You really cant blame IC2 for this, nor expect IC2 to make something to solve this.
i really don;t blame IC2 for this, i blame the idiots that complain about it when they use like 5-20 mods that all give minerals. but IC2 does add alot of minerals and almost no mod uses the other dimensions for minerals at all, so IC2 could be the first of it's kind to impliment a metal in the nether that would actually convince people to go there for a reason other then netherwort and blaze rods which don't even involve mining.
