    if it was an infinate power storage device i'd go for that. however, i'm also trying to suggest the Iridium Blocks as a Explosion proof building material, recommending it being made from either 4 or 9 iridium ores, that way you could also use Iridium Blocks as Storage like all other minerals.


    how about we run with my iridium block idea at 4 iridium ores per block, and it cost 4 iridium blocks and 4 Iridium plates to create a Iridium Machine Block, and the ZPM would require 1 MFSU, 4 Iridium Machine Blocks, and 4 Lapotron Crystals. these Iridium Machine Blocks (Iridium Machine Blocks) would be used to the highest teir of machines, first starting with the ZPM, other implimentations can be used with these IMB later.

    well it would be nice to have a form of transportation with THIS mod and not other mods, if that were the case then i'd go download like 3-4 other mods but then i'd have to wait on all those to update and (insert more annoying reasons here), i'd rather just have a mild form of movement enchancing blocks and alterations in IC2.


    i do love me some Speed2 pots and a Quantum Suit though, too bad Quantum Legs don't let you run up walls when sprinting, kind of like a super hero on DC Universe Online. it would be awesome to be able to run on walls and ceilings, i'd have hidden rooms all over the place only accessible by running on ceilings. :D

    in my opinion if you really want this implimented, the best solution would be to make it look like neon green snow, when stepped on does "fire" damage, (possibly emit light), when shoveled off the top of a block or the block below is destroyed, then you'd get a Radiation Ball, which could be thrown for poison damage.


    also perhaps combine 9 to make a Radiated Clump, then put that into a Empty Cell to make a Near Depleted Uranium Cell?

    breeding is fairly easy, specially if you use Ice Fed Reactors, and the Thermometer Mod, just find a rate that you can feed ice into the reactor OR find a set-up that have 100% stability and drop a couple lava buckets in it to bring it up to temp. if you can figure out which method works best for you then it is really easy and you can get 8 uranium from 1 ore. which is even better then your recommendation with alittle bit of work :)

    Safety measures is something we could decide whenever this has the possibility to be implemented either to RS addon or Core IC.
    Rarely i see replies from devs in my suggestions, that makes me feel sad :( , kidding. They have something better to do i guess.


    yeah, i'm sure they are very busy trying to get IC2 working with MC1.2. i hope that it's done soon cause i REALLY want to test out some of the stuff i've been missing out on, mainly Crops, and the Recharging armor looks very useful.

    i hope IC2 updates to MC1.2 soon, i had been using an old IC2 the past 3-4 months and couldn;t grow crops and have REALLY been wanting to see what they are all about and see what i can do with them. those and BuildCraft stripes Pipes. i'm kind of curious if i can make a half automated IC2 Crop grower/analyzer and catalog each of them in chests with set values determined by dirt and stone. i really wish we could personally name the plants thought, i've heard having to re-analyze the plants gets really annoying.

    But I would like a non-armor dependent transport system for which to use in large scale buildings. This is due to the fact that I wear other mod related armors which aren't metal at all to negate falling damage...


    if it's single player you can still use a "Fast Piston Elevator" which you can find on youtube. it wouln't work on multiplayer because of server to client latency, and as for a way down, why not just make a falling pit with 4 ladders in a 2by2 pattern to catch you? just don't land on the edges of the ladder, be sure to land in the middle, which isn't to hard. or you can try and grow Vines on an Iron Fence Elevator, when the fences aren;t charged then you can slide down the vines. when they are on then... well you know what happens.


    P.S. Quantum Boots adsorb ALL fall damage and allow you to jump like 10 blocks high, which are also considered metal.

    would be incredibly easy to implement as well if the recipe was just 4 or 9 iridium ores. that balance if left up to ya'll as a vote. 4 like wool and clay, or 9 like iron, gold, and diamond blocks. i'm kind of thinking since they are a actually usable building material now then 4 iridium ores (no diamond) would make a iridium block.

    Valid object for testing purpouses. Could as well create a craftable one, posing an INFINITE energy storage (NBT Tags make it possible).

    and infinate energy storage would be useful. i found it rediculous making 128 MFSUs for storage on my server to prevent people from feeling the need to use solar panels :p

    well the Coil-Gun would be more of a rail-gun but with multiple acceleration points. and as mentioned it does cost the use of an iron/refined iron, i figured refined would be better cause the more pure the iron the higher the magnetism, also it would use alittle bit of energy to make it into refined. also if you use UUM to make the iron then the value of 1 refined iron is alittle over 1 million EUs per refined iron, if i'm thinking correctly, 5 uum makes 2 iron ores, or was it 4? but even at 4 ores it makes the EU Value of iron 625kEUs. which is far more costly then a mining laser. also perhaps have 2 modes on it? Kill-Mode and Mining-Mode, that way if you have to use it to take out a creeper or 2 or some skeletons you don't accidently blast holes through your house and hit vital machines, and yes it would pass through enemies doing about 20 hearts worth of damage. that way players could not really use this to harvest Iron Ingots from Iron Golems in towns as it would take 3 iron Ingots to kill 1 golem.


    my main appeal to this technology is the Player Launcher (#1) and Minecarft accelerator (#2) for faster traveling methods that are alittle less convinient then a teleporter. as a teleporter can pin-point travel you from bedrock to the top of the world, and if you were to try and make a spiral launch pad system using these it would require a significant amount of engineering, testing, energy, and materials as it would take like 10 or more to get to the top of the world now. so they would not trivialize the teleporting system either.

    nope, thats why i try to keep rubber boots or quantum boots and fire resist potions :D specially for the nether. now, back to the matter at hand :D some larger batteries would be nice :D and/or a backpack slot. or some way to upgrade tools and strap a LapPack onto the tool as a perminent enchant perhaps to increase energy storage?

    i'm hoping that everyone can get their mods up and running with MC1.2. instead of 1.1. i'm loving the new jungle biome and cats.

    a lightning rod is a pole that catches lighting and runs it safely to the ground so nothing is damaged. people want to be able to use this as a power source. but if you so much as reccommend it you will be slapped mercilessly. the idea have been rejected more times then you could imagine.
